Yes, there are tax advantages with a trade.
Tax advantage on a trade is very much a state by state thing. Probably half the folks in the country don't get discounted sales tax when trading in a vehicle.

Right, and in this case there would be no tax, in fact it'd be considered a small loss which would go on the '25 taxes as a loss.

I would drive what you have and trade in or sell once Ford produces another dark Blue Bronco. Never go backwards on any vehicle and always order what you want so something like this never happens again.

I wanted that color too!!! Very sharp! Ford has always done a great job with their dark Blue colors.

Good luck in whatever you decide.

Thank you, today this is what I'm leaning towards. I'm super worried about what these will cost when that happens, but I suppose if I try to be prepared in advance I could jump on it if/when they do come back to that color.

Remember the old adage A Fool And His Money!!!
Yeah, but there's also something about slaving my whole life at a job just so I can have the nice things I want. I'd rather die in an AMB Bronco and get buried with it than die with 100k in the bank ;-)

Everything will be fine. Never be in a hurry. Save, save, save and you will have your dream vehicle with most likely a much better platform.

Good luck!
