I got an answer from ADV they do sell to dealers.
Did they say
Any shipped
When will they be shipping to dealers
Where is their list of dealers.
Just wondering, are dealers shipped before the masses
Thanks for checking

I'm willing to bet no on this, given the free flow of info from everyone else on the thread.

Alex....I'll take fancy hardware that works the same for $2000
I’d at least like it to have a somewhat quality look, I’d argue the ford interior is by no means premium, but I’d at least like something claiming to be better than OEM to also have a slightly better or at least equal finish to the latching mechanism. I get it regardless but it’s just disappointing. But yeah based on the cost of ADV I’d be even more disappointed if their latches look this way. It’s more acceptable in a 2k cheaper top 🤷🏼‍♂️

Totally agree. The mechanism could be dressed up with a bigger more substantial "cover" integrated into the same locking lever. Heck they probably have that in the works. Apparently this has been used and tested for quite awhile in their Jeep tops so no need to reinvent the wheel. But for sure it could be dressed up which is all the others ones are in the end.

It’s totally practical and works, my exact thought when I saw it was I’d expect that in an older Jeep/Bronco top. So I can respect the functionality. But I’m also a guy who likes fancy stuff 😂

The latches in use look and seem the same as are in Jeeps. I had a Glad as a rental, and those latches looked the same. If the Jeep aftermarket has been using these for all this time, then I am sure they are plausible solutions.

I do not have a hardtop, but looking at some pics, it seems the Bronco has paddle latches. That then comes to aesthetics and not so much functionality.

All this worry over latches that don't look like Ford's designs. I have read countless complaints about air leaks, water leaks, whistling and creaking coming from the MiC.
Maybe these will be better in the end. You can adjust the tension, so as seals start to settle. An adjustment is all that is needed. Plus a lifetime warranty. Just saying

I totally agree, but the reason I own a Bronco over a Jeep at this point is somewhat based on aesthetics anyway 🤷🏼‍♂️

To be fair I’m not worried about it, just disappointed it doesn’t have the nice aesthetic look like most things in the Bronco. I had an OEM hardtop and it really didn’t have any issues I just couldn’t stand taking the middle piece off alone all the time and got a very good price selling it.
