It looks like I could stick my arm through the gap between the rear glass and the rest of the top. Even if it was $1,000, I don't think I'd be interested in that top.
Maybe if I spent 60k+ and was concerned with fashion I'd care more about some gap. But I got my Bronco for under 30k, so 4k is a better match. Plus I had lot of fun in Jeeps without premium looking hardtops.

Depends if the top is solid and dependable down the road, I'd care more about that aspect. Hard to tell what are the construction methods, wonder if it's single or double wall.

Just one friggin straight answer appears to be too much to ask for. I was contemplating maybe getting back in once or if they ever start getting delivered. That answer is more than enough to make me say never. Simply can't support being treated that way when spending this kind of money. The cost alone makes me laugh, $7k for an imported top is a joke. Don't care who scanned, modeled, and input the data or how it comes out. It all makes sense now and it isn't good. Copied this whole thread and the others for my kid to do as a case study at business school in how not to run a business and communicate with customers. So glad I asked for a refund.

Okay, I dug a little into this because I’m fascinated at this point. The manufacturer they use to build these hardtops is clearly based in Asia.

What you’re looking at is likely the same iPhone 6 video the manufacturer sent to ADV. They took that awful horizontal video, matched the same aspect ratio to make it appear as if they are one seamless operation.

How do I know? Take a peek at the safety signage around the hardtops and heavy machinery. Also pay attention to the newspaper wrapping around one of the hardtop pieces.

ADV’s video content is primo quality, this would be no exception, unless it’s not their video.

Nothing wrong with designing here, manufacturing there, but my gosh this appears deceptive.

Super simple answer here. Your hardtops are not here, they are either at the manufacturer overseas, or staging at a port, about to go into a container.
Wow, my post got some attention. That video really opened a can of worms. Curious how they will bypass country of origin, probably with “substantial transformation” depending on the amount of final assembly.

How can they yap less? They haven't posted anything...
They are advertising how amazing their stuff is all over this forum and have gone off the deep end on Facebook advertising too - yet not a single roof has been shipped - not one. I have that in writing from them - as of this week - they refuse to commit to a date - nobody should be sending them a dime at this point.

Thanks for posting it. You brought some great light to all of this. Honestly, ADV did themselves a complete dis-service by releasing this video. They really shot themselves in the foot with the video and would have been better off just describing in text what they were trying to relay in the video.

They’ve exposed their lies and scam methodology.

Lol, a fellow global trade geek, well done citing “substantial transformation” 👏. You are 100% correct. If the panels are made in China while hardware and other parts are made elsewhere, The US will legally be the official country of origin presuming final assembly of the foreign origin parts into a functioning top is done here. The final assembly will give the top its “essential character” and there would be a tariff shift. Sorry, I do this shit all day 😁

I didn't and wouldn't order a after market top until they were in the hands of Bronco owners who can give you a real life evaluation.
So far my factory top has been fine but with all the issues folks are having I’m interested if one of these aftermarket tops is a viable solution.
I know turn off road is supposed to be shipping tops starting in December.
Let the after market hard top competition begin, hopefully we’ll have many options to choose from.
Looking forward to hearing how Bronco owners like their ADV tops once they actually receive them.

Hopefully the hardtops are all eventually a success at the different price points with various qualities/features from which to choose. I'm use to a lot of options and price points with Jeeps, hoping eventually Bronco gets there.

Really though, I'd like to see several soft top make/models. Everyone is jumping in with hardtops - but oddly only two soft tops available? At this rate we'll never get a fully fold down 2-door soft top. :(

Here is a question for everyone that has a roof on order. How long from this point in time will you continue to wait before getting a refund and m
I'll at least wait and see if we actually get an email in that 7-10 day window ADV promised in their recent "Zapruder film".
Tops being ready to ship from Turn Off-Road in December (as well as my place on their list) would weigh heavily in my decision too.

Have they posted images or video of the new top? I am curios...
