Not even sure why they would say "late December". Nothing in the world happens late December, except maybe major retailers like Amazon, Wal-Mart, Target, etc.
FWIW just checked AC, is now at estimated 28 weeks lead time.
i have gone through so much bs waiting for the adv, might as well stick it out , would hate to have to cancel and order something I really am not enamored with only to find out the adv comes out sooner.

adv must have a issue someplace with finishing the tops otherwise some should have been completed by not and shipping started. we will never know, communications deficiencies result in wild speculation .

so onto fricken spring break for my install .

I can confirm that everything has been bumped again. My wife called cuz she keeps it on her calendar when she talked to them last and when they said they would ship. No shipment notice so she called. They asked for name to look up the order and said late December/January. Just for reference, I doubt there is more than one or two orders ahead of mine at most. I ordered day 1 sometime before the orders were technically supposed to start being accepted (the website was accepting orders early and I was in the office checking on it because we were sooo excited). Mine doesn't have the wiper assembly either so I'm as basic as you can get and would happily drop the headliner if needed.

@ADV Fiberglass can you give us any concrete reason not to cancel our orders at this point? Is there any reason for us to believe you will actually ship in December? If you have things figured out and all parts are on hand why has not one shipped yet?
im in the same boat, got onto the website and ordered right away even before it was on bg6

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but "As of right now, your hard top is expected to be ready late December into January"

Even though my comments are usually humerous and poking fun, this situation has become a joke and so is ADV. What a garbage situation and I'll probably be getting a refund now. I'm sure they don't give two craps because they will always have people wanting to buy this hardtop but this has probably been the worst decision I've ever made purchasing this.

I really wish I could take legal matters but it's my fault putting all that money down in the first place. So glad Mitchell Watts has his hardtop though! :)
"I really wish I could take legal matters" Good grief -- they are offering a full refund what more do you expect?

Its frustrating. I would consider Anderson but honestly things aren't much different over there. That 28 weeks could end up being 56 weeks. One thing is for sure, delays are better than getting poor quality. If and when ADV gets their issues resolved -- it should be a great product. I'm sold on the foam core design.

Agreed. I'm only looking for an OEM hardtop now because I have 10k+ worth of gear thats supposed to be on that roof that's just been sitting in a garage and that's honestly the most frustrating piece. I honestly wouldn't mind the timeframe but overall, I have 16k+ invested in items I'm not even using haha

I hear you guys, and I’m out of the ADV camp so I no longer have a dog in the fight, but I’ve seen a few posts theorizing the foam core may be the problem. And that is why other vendors have not gone that route. Take it with a grain of salt but I have seen that here on B6G. Makes you wonder…
