Those come completely assembled or what? Is that how big the ADV shipments will be?
I'm not sure. I'm getting it installed, but I'm guessing the shipping process will be similar but who knows at this point...

I was wondering the same thing - That's massive.
I guess I'm not overly surprised, since having a loading dock or lift gate is required. I kind of hope it's mostly assembled.

Worrying about pricing on parts for a product that hasn't even started shipping seems a bit overboard to me.
If you already pre-ordered, are you going to cancel over the price of a replacement window?

That doesn't look like it is a big enough box to be assembled, unless it's for a 2 door, I suppose.

I would guess the adv will be in the 9 x6x3 area. I have seen the ford hard top containers in person and the cap is the biggest requirement space wise.
The adv tops are more space friendly and can be easily stored overhead in a garage. They have really hit a home run with the design, the damn wait for the rubber is costing them sales. Especially if competitors are putting something out there
Um because it’s a known issue that your rear tire can break your glass? My windows have been smashed 2x before downtown.
It will be funny if the replacement glass is 1k plus shipping.
If all they need is rubber and the tops are complete, they should be able to say how much the glass costs. What if my glass breaks a week after I get my top?
Compared to the price of jeep tops, this is already a ridiculous premium.

Anderson composites (pictured) says theirs are pre-assembled. but they are 4 pieces like the stock MIC top. ADV would be larger as there is no middle piece.

Good question. It covers the car, does it cover 3rd party items? For example a broken winch in a car incident?
I'd assume that would be policy dependent. I'll definitely be asking my provider about it.
