after cancelling and getting my money back i was curious if they would suddenly start shipping to get my blood pressure back up.

Same, I cancelled after the last update which I never received anyway, oddly enough. But I’m definitely still paying attention because I do genuinely want to see one. Although I’m starting to lean toward selling my toplift pro I used to use with my OEM hardtop and just preordering an armadillo designs top.

Yup I cancelled after that update too. I got my money back and went the Armadillo route. They said my square back top should be ready by early August. Fabian has been responsive to all my questions too so communication is great.

Yep. They are likely robbing Peter to pay Paul. I’m betting they are trapped in this cycle and the only options are to continue doing this to buy time or eventually declare bankruptcy and start again under a new legal entity.

That would be my primary concern if I had on of these on order.

I mean, there is just so many troubling things with this top that if I had one on order I would be getting my money back ASAP.

2 other companies beat them to market. Ford is now selling MIC tops, they haven't given an update in what feels like forever, they aren't even trying to get people to stick around. That tells me one of two things are happening. A scenario like Phil described where the ships going down and they are just rearranging the deck chairs, or something with this top is totally FUBAR and they had to go back to the drawing board.

For what it’s worth…EF1 tornado with 110 mph winds went through my area on Thursday. My Anderson Composites top didn’t leak. This is video from my driveway cam.

I canceled yesterday after waiting well over 2 years. Gave me some dumb run around about not being able to wire the money to my account so I'm awaiting a cheque and tracking number.

I also canceled my order on Thursday (5/16) and John from ADV gave me this email reply " Your hardtop is currently in production. I would be more than happy to discuss this via phone. What is your phone number? " I told him that I didn't have time to talk and to cancel my order. As of today (4:30pm EST) my order is still showing as in manufacturing. So, I guess that I am waiting on a cheque and tracking number just like you.

I never received any emails after placing my order other than the "Thank you" for your order.

It’s kind of looking like at some point crowd-funding orders has turned to crowd-funding refunds lol I don’t have any skin in the game but zero chance I’d give them any money at this point and I’d definitely be trying to get mine back before they weasel out of having to

I got my wire transfer the next day . This was about 3 weeks ago.

That doesn’t sound like you got confirmation on your refund. I would call them and verify that you indeed cancel and getting your money back. I cancelled March 2023 and got my wire notification the same day from my bank. Money officially transferred the following day.

I had the same experience exactly. Zero questions asked, instant electronic refund.
