Absolutely for me. The pricing doesn't specify if it's for the textured top or primered top. If it's the one in primer, figure at least $2k more for paint and $1k for shipping and you still have a less functional top than Ford will offer. I'll wait for Ford.
I'm thinking ford better throw us a bone for helping bail out their cluster fuck debut of Bronco! Can you imagine where they would be if we all held out for hard tops! WTF FORD!

We'll have to see how Patriot Fastbacks' offering turn out.

Nothing yet about it on their web site, but based on what they've been letting out via Facebook, it looks like their first offering for the Bronco will be very similar to this one that they have out for the J••p. Their price for this one is $3,881.25 , so I assume the price will be similar for the Bronco version.

Here's the rendering that they've put out so far for their Bronco version:

We'll have to wait and see when both companies' products hit the market, and we start hearing from those who've bought them, but it looks to me like of the two, Patriot Fastbacks is going to have the much better product of the two at a lower price.

I was expecting that with a more basic product, Advanced Fiberglass Concepts would offer it at a lower price, but it looks like that is not the case.
They are at $4,500-$5,500 depending on which one you get and options. They also have a full fastback. Ordering starting at the end of Feb as well. That’s what their rep told me.
So not far off from this at all and you get the defrost here.

So at best it's about $6,000 shipped before the wiper, defrost, headliner. I knew an aftermarket hardtop solution was too good to be true. Can't justify 12% of the purchase price of the vehicle on an aftermarket top.

They already announced in one of their earlier posts (I think week 4) that they will not be offering it pre-painted in body colours due to challenges in colour matching.

ADV looks better [than Patriot Fastbacks], to me. MUCH better.
That's a matter of personal taste, I suppose.

I'm the sort who cares much more for practical usefulness than for appearance.

If I had the choice, at equal, reasonable prices, between that fragment of solid digestive waste that South Florida Jeeps is offering, somehow made to look very visually appealing to me, but with that horrid slant that cuts off a quarter of my cargo area, and no way to open the back to get better access thereto, or a version of the Patriot Fastbacks offering that was somehow made to look at ugly as possible, I would choose the latter without any hesitation at all.

That said, I find what renderings I've seen of Patriot's offering to be quite visually appealing. The images of the extant offerings for the J••p on which it is based are pretty ugly, but that's probably because it's on a J••p instead of a decent Ford vehicle.

I like the look of Patriot's rendering of their upcoming Bronco roof better than I like the look of ADV's, but that wouldn't mean solid digestive waste to me if I found ADV's offering to be a better balance of cost and practical usability. As it is, indications so far seem to be that Patriot is well poised to kick ADV's ass on both practical usability and cost.

But it's still early in the game, and things could change.

well i signed up but was really hoping for sub 5k. That's a lot of $ towards other quality of life enhancements i could make in the bronco. I'll def need to see what final production versions look like before making a final decision on this one.

ADV knew this... Why else would they have done this ridiculous product rollout that strung people along for 6 weeks. They were just hoping to get buyers good and hooked before they said a number. Keep in mind this is only the base price it does not include options like defrost or the rear wiper plus they have not specified if this was one of the finished color tops.
your comments are ignorant. This is a local business in my area and they have been supporting the off road/Raptor community for years. They are not playing games or baiting anyone. If you don't like their price, then just pass. I have had two sets of their fenders for the Gen 1 Raptor and they are very well made and good fit and finish. Before you rip into a local business do your homework.

Full on baiting people..... They knew the info 6 weeks ago and refused to address it. Even today they still have not released the full price info, only the "base" price

I'm sure the product is top quality, just think it's a bad rollout.

Saying the Jeep top is cheaper isn’t fair. The jeep tops has been out for years now. Manufactures have had the time to take advantage of economies of scale.

Just like the Bronco, any new product has been introduced at a premium. The company has to recoup their R/D cost. Thats [sic] business 101.

I’m interested in what ADV is going to do different than FORD. Come 2023, FORD will have their own painted modular hard top. Whats [sic] going to set ADV apart from FORD? From what ADV has presented,
It looks to me like ADV's whole plan here is based on hopefully not f•••ing theirs up the way Ford/Webasto did.
