Additional warranties cost

I am waiting on my 2022 Wildtrak to arrive. I am very interested in purchasing the additional warranties like the windshield, tires, dents and so forth. But I cannot find the prices for those additional warranties. All I can find are the extended warranty brochures. Does anyone have a copy or screenshot?

I’ve never heard of a warranty for tires, dents, and windshields as you say. Wear and tear is not covered under a warranty. That’s out of pocket stuff or an insurance claim.

I bought a 8yr 75k extended warranty from Granger Ford with FordPass points. They offer $50 over cost. I also have coverage for windshield through my auto insurance.

I don’t believe what your looking for exists and if it does I don’t believe it’s something worth purchasing imo. Good luck.

You probably won’t find the prices listed online as every dealer sells them at different amounts. This is something you’ll have to discuss with your dealership when buying the vehicle.

I’ll be damned. They’ll warranty anything these days I guess. Seems like you found what you were looking for. Stand by my statement it’s not a good use of cash. Guessing these things are over priced.

Edit: Ahhh dealers set prices. That could get expensive.

Try Flood Ford online. They have a dedicated line you can call. They have some of the best warranty prices around and it’s the Ford warranty. Ask about riders. That’s how you get the windshield, tires, etc…

For things like tirecare, windshield care, and the dentcare you cannot buy them after the purchase of the vehicle, so you're at the mercy of your selling dealer, unless you can get a different dealer, i.e. flood or granger or something to give a quote for cost plus $50 or something and brow beat them into matching that.

Windshield care will not replace the windshield if it's chipped, they will only patch the glass to a certain point so to me that wasn't worth it.

Tirecare on these vehicles also seems useless given the need to keep tires evenly worn for the 4WD/AWD systems to not experience uneven wear, so if you have a puncture you will still end up needing to buy at least 1, to 3 other tires in order to keep the wear even at a minimum across the axle, if not across the entire system. So for a quote of north of $500 it wasn't worth it to me either.

I bought the windshield plan $995 zero deductible from the dealership since my insurance doesn’t cover glass. Have had it replaced once in the first 10 months so if I get another I may break even. Not sure if that’s the going rate or they jacked up the price on me.
