Adding a Powered Sub in Factory Location

I have the base 6 speaker system and was looking to add some bass with a powered subwoofer. Trying to keep the install simple but don't want it exposed in the rear cargo compartment. Has anyone installed one behind the rear panel where the factory sub is located? Any pictures or advice on the install would be appreciated.
