All in one powered kicker sub? Audio upgrade

Had someone recommend this to me.
Anyone have any experience with this Kicker 49PTRTP12 Down-firing
There is also one without amp
model: 48TRTP122

I was thinking tailgate sub but after recommendation am more confused
Bunch of factors involved..tailgate sub is secured if top down..might be concerned that someone could just take downfiring sub..unless I could secure it to a D ring if possible
Do I do separate amps or is 5 channel more cost effective to power whole system( 4 channels plus 1 channel for amp)

Sorry to keep asking audio questions but I am very confused by this audio system and only want to do it once
I've updated all speakers so far to
1. rollbar speakers to updated 6.5 Mabbett pods with Kicker 46CSC674 6.75".
2.dash speakers to Infinity REF-4032CFX
3. Kick panels to Focal RCX-165

Don't know if I'm going to install sub and amp or if a shop will.
