Just got my Bronco last week and I’m already looking at accessories. 5/6 toggles switches, stuff everywhere that states “accessory ready”
Anyone have recommendations for must have add ons?
I already tinted the front windows to match the back but that doesn’t count.
22 outer banks Sasquatch.
Thanks!

I see most broncos get the corner bumper lights in the modular bumper, along with some pods or light bar on the bumper or up on the roof.

For me, some won't be used, I just have a mobile GMRS radio on Aux 6, planning on a couple of Baja Design LP6 on the bumper with some ditch lights up on the mirror arms. I won't be needing much else.

Now if you're asking just in general for add ons.... ill start with the smaller stuff.
- touchscreen protector if you plan on wheeling, it can save from scratches
- shorter antenna, if your like me and the windshield wiper that hits the antenna bugs you
- door sill protectors

Then the rest
compressor (onboard twin if your lazy like me)
4 hose setup (again, if your lazy like I am)
Deflator or use the 4 hose setup
hood struts especially if you have a portable compressor (dont let the wind make your decision later)
mobile or handheld radio if you wheel with others
hopefully you dont have carpeted floor mats, i'm new to the bronco, not new to the dirt
wheels/tires and supporting suspension mods
HD spare tire carrier of some sort if you upsize your tires
System for sway bar disconnect
Good cooler
and the list goes on and on infinitely......

The best thing to buy first is?

We can all sit on the other end of the internet and say buy this or buy that. It all comes down to what do you want.

Sit back look at other photos of similar Broncos

See what you think looks good, and what you think looks stupid.

When you figure out the way you want your Bronco to look, go for it.

First day I upgraded my dash speakers, and 2nd week in upgraded my rear pods to SSV with kickers in them. Incredible difference if audio matters to you.

get a nice set of side steps, pop some lights on the accessory ready spot near the side mirrors if you have the aux switches, front and rear dash cams since people drive like asshats, rear cargo tray. Either way be prepared to spend a lot more money. You can try to fight the urge, but once you get one thing you just keep buying more

Stubby looks good, but I lost radio station reception where I live so had to go back to the long antenna. YMMV.

so far plug and play but the rear pods went to a 6.5" speaker. There's a million threads on audio and amp upgrades so have fun.
I know! It’s insane. A lot look to be experienced audiophiles I’m just
looking for the simplest bang for your Buck tbh.

Built right stubby was the first thing I did to my bronco. Looks great.
I don't agree with replacing the EOM with a stubby antenna.

First the OEM antenna works well (way better than any stubby) and looks pretty cool as opposed to the crap OEM Jeep antennas. (replacing your antenna with a stubby is a very Jeep thing to do)

But the real reason you should keep the OEM antenna is that it is essentially a measuring stick if you are trying to go under a tree branch or overhead parking garage, etc. The antenna is just the right height to let you know that you are or are not about to smash your roof into the overhang of a parking garage or a branch out on the trail. It's there for a reason.

Gotta keep those dopamine hits coming. I've done the big push, trying to slow my roll a little now before the mods start overlapping too much. Its been a great hobby though.
