Seems like a long time with it already in Arkansas doesn’t it.
My Bronco left Wayne on the 9th. It made it 124 miles south and east... and now it sits. Every day they add a day to the 'due in Blue Island" date. I'm starting to lean toward no sympathy for the RR Union Employees and the contract negotiations.

Made it to Conkelley MT overnight. Hopefully Spokane by tonight.
If you want to see remaining BNSF waypoints that don't appear on Google maps but that you might hear on the CSX tracker, you can look at this: https://www.multimodalways.org/docs/railroads/companies/BNSF/BNSF Maps/BNSF Division Maps/BNSF Washington Div Map 1-7-2000.gif. More BNSF maps are at: http://www.multimodalways.org/archives/rrs/BNSF/BNSF Maps/BNSF Maps.html. As a bit of a map geek (and obsesive Bronco whereabouts tracker), I was very excited to find these!

This is from my Dealer's info that they obtained from Ford: It took 14 days from Sent to plant (in production) to Produced (in production), 1 day from Produced (in production) to Released (awaiting shipment) and 4 days from Released (awaiting shipment) to Shipped (in transit).

I checked the Chessie Seaboard Consolidated (CSX) Rail tracking phone service and from the first call and then a second call 4 days later the date has already been moved 3 days forward from its original first transfer destination of Blue Island, IL. (the final rail destination is Oakland, CA (Richmond). I have a projected dealer arrival week of 10/22/22 - 10/28/22. I seriously doubt that the Bronco will arrive by convoy from the rail station to the dealer by the the 28th. Note: It has taken 3 days to travel from the Michigan Assembly Plant (MAP) to the freight train station located in Walbridge, OH.

On another note, I kept a copy of the window sticker (WS) when it first showed up on the tracking site and that one did not have a date posted at the bottom-center of the WS; I checked today and now there is date of 10/14/2022.

Edit: Checked today 10/15/22 and the WS shows the same date. Ford must have changed something because when I checked on 09/23/22 and subsequent days in September there was not date at the bottom.

I did a similar quest to find out the transfer locations and the destination routes of Union Pacific; then used the rail maps to determine distances and time frames.

I beleive we are on the same rail car (TTGX964603). THey are going from Wayne MI, to Walbridge OH, left there 9:00 am this morning to Blue Isalnd IL (Chicago), gets handed off from CSX to UP, then to Milpitas Ca. Hopefully the hand off is timely at Blue Island and then I think it's 5 days to CA plus trucking. Mine is going to the dealer in Watsonville CA Hopefully we get them before Halloween!!

Yes, the rail car numbers are the same. Thanks for the update @BP Bronco, I last checked the status yesterday.

My Bronco has over 3.5 hr. truck transport drive north after it is unloaded from the rail car.

Tell them you want to keep the old one. Sell to someone who wants to paint.
The dealership said they are putting in a claim to the shipping company. In short, I need a whole new top. Any guesses on before or after Christmas?

how and where do I go to track my bronco via rail with CSX
Here's the full directions I pulled from another thread:

First you will need the rail car letters and numbers. It is on the visibility report or DORA which is from the dealership. You MAY be able to get it from the SVT people but they seem often in a cranky mood and may tell you to get it from the dealer.

There are two major rail companies.

CSX is everything east of the mississippi
UP is everything west of the mississippi

But they all start out on CSX so once they have it in their system they will follow it all the way.

So, how do you track your truck on a railcar?

First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

The date on the window sticker is interesting. Just checked and mine has it too when my original sticker did not. 09/28 blend, 10/03 built, still “awaiting shipping”. What do we think the date addition means? I just assumed the windows stickers remained the same once issued.

I thought the same too that once the WS was produced it would not change. I am going to check tomorrow to see if it changes. My thinking is that it will not change so it may have something to do with when it shipped.

Edit: The I checked the WS site today and it has today's date. Ford must have added that because the 9/23/22 check did not have a date.

It is just the date that you generated the window sticker unless the 3 copies from three different stickers are a fluke. Aka a meaningless date.
