9/19/22 Build Week

What's the situation?

Railroad workers have been working without a contract for 3 years (if I’m correct) and they can’t reach an agreement. Unless something happens by 9/15, there could potentially be a strike starting as soon as 9/16.

Just asked for an update from chat and am listed with a 9/21 build date. Originally scheduled for 9/12 week, bumped up to 9/5 then back to 9/19. I assume an actual day now is a good sign.

I asked my dealer. He tells me I'm currently set for a 9/20 build and to expect a 4 week transit time to NC. I don't expect it to be exact as my Miata order bounced 3 weeks just to get trucked from Jacksonville this summer.

I also hear that rail has become a significant issue for any transit so maybe I'm in it by early November. Just want to get the order for the 2 door Trektop twill soft top to arrive in close proximity to that delivery. That piece looks like a must have for a true open feel on the 2 door.

My 3/22 build took about 3 weeks before the "built" email and status to change and than 4-6 weeks on delivery (via truck). Of course, YMMV.

Same. I have some friends with husbands that work for the railroad. I said I'd stock up on toilet paper beforehand if they'd please bring my Bronco.

Joining from the 9/05 original week group. Looks like there are a few people being shuffle down the line. 2nd bump here (9/05 / 9/12 ) in four weeks, so just holding on for the ride. Don't think this will be the end.

Same here. Week of 9/12 to week of 9/19 and now a specific date of 9/21.
