9/19/22 Build Week

So mine is scheduled for 9/19 build week but mine doesn't say moved to in production. What does this mean, what's different about mine? Dealer said ford has a projected build date of 9/28. I don't need my vehicle much in coming weeks so i was thinking about trading in in advance which they said i could do to avoid losing more value when rates go up this month and 2023 inventory comes out. Currently have 2022 Silverado. Just afraid i get pushed?

I think that's pretty normal with regaurd to ford's order tracker until it's actually in production.

if you look on the back door tracker it will show you build week and a blue dot in the production bubble.

In general, the vehicle moves to "In Production" on the Ford tracker and Ordertrack App around the time the window sticker is released (about 6-7 days before build date). If your build date is 9/28, then you'll be part of the 9/26 build week - not this one. However, it appears the backdoor tracker still shows you in this week, so maybe your dealer had it wrong.

Thanks for the info. My email said 9/19 i did not receive a bump email or any additional and sorry, i think i wrote that wrong a little. The dealer said my projected finished built date is 9/28 meaning ready to leave ford

My dealer just confirmed he shows 9/23 for my build date too.

They told me same info here when I dropped in last week to get a trade-in estimate.

Dealers said average delivery window they see is 1-4 weeks after built. Little as 3-4 days.

Chat told me 9/19 build date yesterday, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Last Friday I was told 9/13 for a build date then I was bumped Friday afternoon. I'm impatiently awaiting my window sticker so I know it's really going to happen!

I so far received only the 1 production date from Ford back on 8/25 no changes so far. Hoping it continues to stick. I'm hoping no news This Friday is good news.

I was scheduled for 9/12 build week on Aug. 11th. Last Friday was my first change. So close but yet so far!

Yeah, where are all these people getting exact dates? Is this something from the reservation system?

I asked my dealer. He tells me I'm currently set for a 9/20 build and to expect a 4 week transit time to NC. I don't expect it to be exact as my Miata order bounced 3 weeks just to get trucked from Jacksonville this summer.

I also hear that rail has become a significant issue for any transit so maybe I'm in it by early November. Just want to get the order for the 2 door Trektop twill soft top to arrive in close proximity to that delivery. That piece looks like a must have for a true open feel on the 2 door.

I would love to know too as my dealer told me those dates but have been unable to see that myself with any of the resources here for tracking?
