via Ford phone call.where did you get Plant Hold info? i was supposedly buit Aug 11 and have had no update since and customer chat online doesnt have any info? im dieing to figure out whats up?
Speaking of...Depends on who you talk to in via customer chat. Some are more helpful than others.
Something does not seem right. Later weeks seem to be progressing as expected, only a couple of days "In Production" and then built. 21 Days for me "In Production". This is stressing me out a bit.No deliveries to our little group in over a week. Strange times indeed. Still seems more deliveries in later groups.
I am finally built (I was on hold for a week as they fixed a trim piece). Still waiting on a train with a planned delivery of 9/4 - 9/10. We will see. When it does get shipped, how to I get the train tracking stuff? If it is dealer provided, I won't get it. Seems the Customer Service folks, while still polite, may be running out of patience. Last time I was asked "Do you have access to the online tracking tool" when inquiring.
8/8/2022 Build Week Group Spreadsheet
Agreed…My ETA has passed and vehicle visibility at the dealership now says “pending update” for the ETA. Still waiting for a call-back from customer service after they escalated my case. I’m about ready to tell them to put this right on Elena Ford’s desk. This is getting ridiculous, since later builds are already out to customers.Something does not seem right. You might be on to something there... which is nuts.... I was early blend on 8/11... 150 of over 1k, so I think my build was buried deep in the lot.I love the spreadsheet, but it's also showcasing the irrational vehicle production and deliveries.
Ford's so weird. Are Broncos shipped based on being parked closest to lot exit? I wonder.
This is perfectly summed up. Small sample size means it won't every be the full story. Add to that the fact that all of our broncos are very different by the time you factor in models, options, and accessories. What we see looks like no rhyme or reason, but I'm sure there is one.Ford's shipping (building, scheduling, etc) process is definitely confusing and apparently random. Although we are just a miniscule sampling of each build day. I think they roll anywhere from 400 to 1000 rangers or Broncos down the line on build days. Our spreadsheet represents just 10-20 of those trucks for a given day. It is fun (or painful) to track but probably doesn't come close to telling the entire story. I am certainly not a Ford apologist, it has been very painful for me, but hard to know what is happening. I just need either football season or hunting season to start so I will stop fixating on this site!! Just get me my Bronco and I will move along peacefully,
Not sure my point; just killing time until I can check the pizza tracker again.
