We are on the same train I bet. Mine is “constructively placed” in Kayce, with estimated arrival in Dixiana on the 17th. Suppose to go to Fort Mill Ford. My blend date was 8/11. I searched for “constructively placed” and found this thread. Wow you guys got your rigs shipped fast!
Check yours now. My car placed in Dixiana late last night. You should be there too now if we were on the same train

I had a look and it appears that there is an Alexis, Ohio and it is West of Columbus, Ohio. Hopefully that means it is moving in the right direction to your dealer. It may be a really small rail station and it just scanned through it.
Ahhh found it thanks! if that is in fact where it is I am moving right along!

Excellent! Glad you found it and it is moving in the right direction. Mine arrived in KC this afternoon. Now it is the waiting game for a truck to pick it up and deliver it to the dealer. Lord only knows how long that will take!

And why haven't you called Tim and asked him if he has a transport truck standing by?

When my Lightning railcar arrived in KC it was at 1:15 am. It was offloaded from the railcar at 3:30 pm that same day. I don't expect our Bronco's will get offloaded until tomorrow.

I only knew when it was offloaded because my FordPass app was activated and I could actually see when they parked my Lightning in the parking lot. This is not info available on the railcar tracking.

Ford Chat can advise us the status of our Broncos when they have been unloaded. Something like this from my Lightning:
Ford Bronco 8/29/2022 Build Week Group 1663101518726

Eventually, checking the NS railcar tracking and getting a message that the railcar has moved on from Voltz to somewhere else also means it has been unloaded.

Hey y'all!

I have an 8/29 build week (why I'm here). I have a question about delivery to Denver Colorado (Union Pacific trains)

Does any one know what's up with "Junction Point" West Chicago Illinois?
- Since September 7 my Bronco has been sitting at Junction Point, West Chiacgo Ill. I've been (politely) checking in with the Ford chat folks, and since Sept 7, the Bronco has just been sitting there. Though I have asked every time, the chat rep's have never been able to provide rail car information

Hoping that this rail road strike doesn't happen.

Per shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking
Ordered on: 03/03/2022
In Production: 09/01/2022
Built: 09/01/2022
"Your vehicle is on its way" - email received 09/06/2022 @ 2:52AM

Bronco details:
2 door Base model
Eruption Green
7 Speed
- Auxiliary switches
- Roof Rack
- Engine block heater
- Keyless Entry Pad

Per Window Sticker:
Blend Date: 08/30
Rotation #: 4898
Sequence#: 388/2150
I’m curious about this as well as I’m in the same boat. Mine appears to have been sitting at Junction Point in Chicago since 9/10 also and Ford chat hasn’t been able to provide the rail car number.

Yes, let me get on the phone right now and tell Tim that there are at least two Broncos that need a truck ASAP  . On a side note, I did let my dealer know that it is in KC, just so they know, I know where it is and don't mind bothering them to ETA's on a truck.

Can I input my VIN into my Ford Pass now? I haven't done it as of yet. I will give it a couple of days and maybe hit the chat up again and see if they know anything. I may also check the rail car just to see what they say as well. I mean I have stalked it this far, why stop now...

Appreciate all your help and insight into this journey. Really glad it made it to KC so quickly. Hopefully our truck haulers will be just as quick!

Has Ford Chat confirmed this is where you transfer from Norfolk Southern? Do you go to Denver via Union Pacific or BNSF? I would think they would stay on the same railcar that was shipped out of Dearborn and the railcar would be transferred from N.S. to U.P. or BNSF but I'm not a rail expert. If they don't transfer the railcar then they would have to offload the Bronco's and drive them from one automotive facility to another which sort of defeats the purpose of using a train.

I think somewhere in this area (Norfolk Southern Map) is where the railcar would be transferred.

You can input your Bronco VIN into your FordPass app at anytime once it was built. You can then request your FordPass app for your Bronco to be activated. Once that request is in, it will pop-up on the screen in the Bronco. You are then hoping the next person who gets into the Bronco clicks "Ok" and accepts the request. If they do then the clock starts on all of your free FordPass app trial stuff. But you will be able to see each time the Bronco gets moved with a precise GPS location. Or if you activate secure alerts, even every time the door gets opened.

If they reject your request you will get a message on that too which is information that someone is in your truck. Or if it gets driven 10 times without accepting the request then you'll get a rejection.

It is hit or miss on who may activate your FordPass request. I have not done it for my Bronco. I did it for my Lightning and watched it sit in four different Dearborn parking spots for six weeks before it got loaded on a train. It was fun and agonizing to keep track of it. I knew the day and minute it was loaded onto a transport truck and about 7 hours later, I saw the door open at my dealer.

All of my one month free stuff expired before my truck ever left Detroit.
