yeah, having your bronco disassembled because it was built like shit and failed QC is very comforting.
But it's still YOUR bronco, trade you spots in heartbeat if you'd like? Lol

This stings for sure. But why are so many people on this thread talking about order status’ of people that HAVE ALREADY been scheduled. I don’t care if you’re waiting a while for your build that was scheduled for production 3 weeks ago. Read a room. Your got your lucky ticket a while ago. Please don’t tell people that don’t have a schedule date or a vin that the waiting sucks. You’ve already got your golden ticket. You will get a MY21. 🤦‍♂️
You're calling it a golden ticket, but honestly it feels more like being one of the kids that Willy Wanka murdered after they got "golden tickets". Read the room. I haven't seen any evidence that a VIN guarantees a MY21 bronco. I've only seen that Ford keeps moving build dates making planning all but impossible.

I'm with you on the expectations not being met and absolutely frustrated with no official email with any sort of time frame. The excuses of hardtop is BS, as I never ordered one. I'm sure ford is aware of all it's disgruntled order holders and the best they can do is send out an outdated propaganda email. I call bullshit.
I have a feeling Ford is just as unhappy as anyone else about this. They can't sell what they can't build. Delays are just costing Ford money that make the stock holders very unhappy. Something big must have happened that Ford chooses not to share.

I don't get it.. And maybe it's because I skipped like 10 pages or so...
But are you saying that your dealer gets to put stock orders in this week and every other reservation holder gets the shaft?
Or am I reading that wrong? 🤷‍♂️
No he would have been able to order this week but that told him they weren’t scheduling so don’t.

Without a vin, no year is a guarantee...you have a vin so it will happen at some point.

Do you think “Stay Pumped” might have been a typo, and Ford really meant to tell us to “Stay Stumped”……because I’m clueless at this point.
THERE'S the Kerry we all know and read! 😎

Ford roll out execution is a joke. They cannot get out of their own way and their contract management seemed slow to react to the roof debacle.
I’m pushing to MY23 so I can see other roof options for my 2 door.
In the meantime, I just ordered a Jeep Wrangler. I wanted to make sure Wranglers are still selling like hot cakes so Ford is properly motivated to fix this situation.
Life is too short to just wait for Ford, I’m going to have fun in the meantime.
@Ford Motor Company you just sold a Wrangler!
That will teach them. :ROFLMAO:

Might as well accept rumor as fact now...

5,000 purgatory hard tops
50% fail rate on newly-delivered hard tops
Hart-top FEs must be MY21

This is a pretty deep-ass hole for Ford to dig out of.
If these numbers are accurate, weren’t they only making 80 MICs a day? We are in for a long wait. July 22nd build, no word on shipping here and probably won’t for some time.

They have a bunch of junk sitting around that needs fixed. That's one thing they aren't sharing.

They sold two, I did the very same thing two weeks ago for the same reasons.

Could you have given me any citations in advance of anything Ford has done so far lol? Just feeling the vibe, reading between the lines, and following Ford's pattern here. Nothing would surprise me at this point. An email from Ford stating "a total shutdown and we'll try again sometime in 2023 depending on Covid and the tilt of the Earth's axis" would not surprise me at this point.

This is the smartest take no one is mentioning. Fords transparency with this process, which is new to many of us, is exactly what is causing the reactionary stuff in the forum. Remove our ability to dial into internal vehicle visibility programs, track our own rail car, etc... & I think there would be little to no issue with what’s happening and how Ford is handling it. The instant gratification in us all is getting the better of us, when we just need to chill and wait. My 2 cents, piggy jar it, or toss it out.
I respectfully disagree. Ford has not been transparent at all through this whole process. In fact, it’s just the opposite. Further, while I generally agree that much of society does expect instant gratification, that hardly describes the Bronco release since many of us have been waiting over a year since reserving the vehicle & have been patiently playing along with Fords supposed “release plan”, (and I use that term loosely).
They (Ford) chose the reservation strategy, presumably to gain insight into demand.
They chose the rollout dates.
They chose the pre production dates.
They had control over every aspect of the production.
They chose everything about the product release including setting the expectations about communicating with their customers via email updates.

Unfortunately they screwed the pooch in every aspect and then realized how bad it was that they went dark on providing status. updates. It’s beyond disgraceful.
Speaking only for me, this is the last Ford I will buy. I’m done playing a game where they are concealing the box lid with the rules.
