I remember in the movie Ford Vs. Ferrari that Henry Ford Jr. claims that Ford won WWII by building tanks and airplanes for the Allied Effort. I hope we don't have to rely on Ford again for war machinery unless its going to be Falkland Island Round 2....we can drop broken Broncos full of Napalm on the enemy and scare them into submission...

Why waste a perfectly good bronco when Mustangs are already built to take out whole crowds of people?

Seems to me Ford is engaged in 2 unhealthy, unsustainable activities: taking brand-damaging risks to pump revenue, and operating with insufficient staff.

I could be wrong...or they could just be stupid...or they could be setting up business segments to 'shine & ship'. The Wall Street undertow has never really abated that Ford would be more profitable as a 150/250 truck producer.

If the problem doesn't fall within the strict criteria of some ridiculous hypothetical situation they read in one of their textbooks they are completely lost.

I apologize for the rant, but this is literally who all these companies are hiring these days and it's driving me insane.

I work for a large company and you are exactly right. Case and point: I'm 37 and I've never heard anyone my age or older say "Stay Pumped" as a term of encouragement or reassurance. What a dumb statement.

So my dealer told me today that with the canceling of scheduling this week he was unable to change anything on the stock units he has to schedule. Before everyone freaks out the only things he is allowed to add are door keypads, front license plate brackets and change the color. Looks like his units will be base and BB automatic 2.3 with the mid package at best.

Not much to do at this time other than laugh. Complete failed launch on Ford’s part. Glad this is a vehicle for my son when he get’s his license in a couple years. I feel for the folks that are needing their Bronco now.

I'm in this exact same boat. My son is 11 and convinced the wife that we need one for when he takes our old Highlander in 5 years.

I booked at the Off-Roadeo for last week in August as soon as it opened up knowing I wouldn’t have my Bronco by then but never thought I wouldn’t even have a build date by then. At this rate I’m doubting I will. Truthfully I don’t know how much I care about the Off-Roadeo anymore. It’s just going to piss me off if I don’t even have a build date by then.
