I wonder if MAP will just be down the week of 8/16 and running the week of 8/23? I was originally build week 8/16. I got bumped to the 8/23 build week on Saturday July 31.

So far I have not received an email bumping me out of the 8/23 build week.

I sure hope the Ford execs are up in their towers laughing at us, because I would hate to think that a (once) proud company like Ford would treat their customers this poorly and not even realize it. Being the butt of a joke would be easier to accept, I think.

I don't understand the leap frog thing that seems to happen every time a shut down happens. The last go around, people that had VINs from June that weren't built were sent to the end of July or later. New people that had just gotten VINs had theirs built. And now again it looks like week 8/16 it going to be placed after other later builds instead of just sliding the whole schedule back a week. Nothing Ford does makes sense.

I'm just making a guess here but, perhaps the logistics required for staging parts makes it easier on Ford to just shift one week of production and not shift the entire schedule?

Or, maybe Ford is trying to minimize the number of customers they are irritating with changes? Oh, wait, there probably isn't one Bronco reservation/order holder that isn't already irritated to the maximum with this process.

I'm certainly not holding my breath that my 8/23 build week will stay firm.

No email either. Guess i will ask the dealer tomorrow what they see.

Got to take my dealer's demo badlands 2.3 soft top out for 24 hours. I like this thing. Really enjoyed it and thought the 2.3 did fine though i'm getting the 2.7 so happy there. I'm getting the MIC but I can tell the soft top with the flip back I would use all the time. Was easy to get the sides and back panels out and put the top fully down. I do wonder how those panels, in particular the stitching will hold up over time. Excited.

I do suggest people put PPF in the sills and pillars so when you are putting the doors on if you bump it you do not scratch the paint badly there with the lower corner of the rear door in particular. Dealer guys did some damage when they tried to put doors back on at some point.

7/26…to 8/16…to 8/30. Better than I was expecting given the rush of bad news lately.

Ugh. No email. Looks like another awkward/obsessive situation where I’m emailing my dealer what seems like every week now

no email. Have a Saturday 8/21 build date

I think us guys with no emails are in denial. I'll admit it.

Last time I was pushed out from 7/26 to 8/16 it took Ford two weeks until they notified me. Granted I found out myself within two days by actively seeking the information, but still. Guess we'll know more when the dealers start opening today.
