@Tugger5oh did you get yours?
Impatiently waiting. It's ready but my schedule hasnt cooperated. Should be able to grab today or tomorrow.

If any more parts show up before I have it, I think my wife might kill me.🤣

@Fly88 i arrived in Pearland this morning. Whooop whoop 🙌🏼. Hopefully I’m not too far behind you!

I read in another thread that somebody called their dealership and had them call the Pearland railyard and put a “hot” status on their vehicle. I guess hot status vehicles have priority and his was shipped to the dealer the next day

I’m shooting my shot and going to try to get on the next delivery 😂

I've been updated to "Final Preparation"!!

I'm not sure if I'll have all my ducks in order to grab the truck this weekend or if it'll have to wait until next week.

My mountain of parts ordered has been steadily growing over the last few weeks.

Just heard back from the salesperson (who has been awesome). They aren't in tomorrow so it looks like Monday for pickup. I assume today is too quick of a turn around to have it prepped. It'll give me time to clear out some more space in the garage anyways!

Well...she was pretty for the 30 minutes I had her last night.

Got in and out of the dealer in less than 45 mins, no issues pre-paperwork other than some bubbling on the PPF, no problem, they're going to send it in to be replaced. Was so excited because it was the smoothest/fastest I've ever been in and out.

Drove 5 mins and thought there was some weird stickiness as I was accelerating up to 30 on the road leaving the dealer, then when I got on the expressway she started going upwards of 5.7 RPMs trying to shift high enough to go 60. She finally got into the right gear, but the transmission wasn't happy about it and the service engine soon light came on. Nearly stalled out completely on the exit when I tried to turn it around to go back to the dealer. They plugged it in and the computer had 3 errors on a shift solenoid. Just got a call back from the dealer and it's not the solenoid, needs an entire new transmission.

The good news is Ford is expediting the part, so it'll be in and installed within 2 weeks instead of a month. My sales guy said this is the first new car in 7 years they've had it happen to...I'm going back and forth between laughing at the hilarity of "of course you have to wait more after you finally got it" and the sick wtf of should I just abort the whole thing. Definitely not how I thought the first day of her being here would go. 🤦‍♀️

This is awful. I hope they put you up in a loaner. What was your blend date?

Thats terrible! Ugh! You pay so much and it does that. I'm worried about mine crapping out early too based on some stories on here.

I know theyre the exception rather than the rule, but my luck has to run out at some point.

They offered a rental, my sales guy felt really bad about it happening. I turned it down for now, though. My stepdaughter has a couple of months before she gets her license, so I’m just driving her car for now.

My blend date was 7/26.

That's a real bummer. Hopefully you're back on the road with it soon.

Will do! Just sent a note to the salesman to not put any of those stupid dealer stickers on my ride.
Haha, I did the same thing. When we went to take it for a drive the sticker was on there and I was like "Hey... I only had one request" Sales person swore up and down that they had to have ignored a giant note she left on the bronco. They promptly removed it for me. When we got home we found the note inside the glovebox :ROFLMAO:
