If any more parts show up before I have it, I think my wife might kill me.

This is awful. I hope they put you up in a loaner. What was your blend date?Well...she was pretty for the 30 minutes I had her last night.
Got in and out of the dealer in less than 45 mins, no issues pre-paperwork other than some bubbling on the PPF, no problem, they're going to send it in to be replaced. Was so excited because it was the smoothest/fastest I've ever been in and out.
Drove 5 mins and thought there was some weird stickiness as I was accelerating up to 30 on the road leaving the dealer, then when I got on the expressway she started going upwards of 5.7 RPMs trying to shift high enough to go 60. She finally got into the right gear, but the transmission wasn't happy about it and the service engine soon light came on. Nearly stalled out completely on the exit when I tried to turn it around to go back to the dealer. They plugged it in and the computer had 3 errors on a shift solenoid. Just got a call back from the dealer and it's not the solenoid, needs an entire new transmission.
The good news is Ford is expediting the part, so it'll be in and installed within 2 weeks instead of a month. My sales guy said this is the first new car in 7 years they've had it happen to...I'm going back and forth between laughing at the hilarity of "of course you have to wait more after you finally got it" and the sick wtf of should I just abort the whole thing. Definitely not how I thought the first day of her being here would go.

They offered a rental, my sales guy felt really bad about it happening. I turned it down for now, though. My stepdaughter has a couple of months before she gets her license, so I’m just driving her car for now. This is awful. I hope they put you up in a loaner. What was your blend date?

Haha, I did the same thing. When we went to take it for a drive the sticker was on there and I was like "Hey... I only had one request" Sales person swore up and down that they had to have ignored a giant note she left on the bronco. They promptly removed it for me. When we got home we found the note inside the gloveboxWill do! Just sent a note to the salesman to not put any of those stupid dealer stickers on my ride.
