$50 for gatorback pair?

I keep reading about $300 gatorback mudflats. I found these for $50. What am I missing?

The gatorbacks are a different mudflap for the Bronco. These $50 ones are the base line, and the front set are NOT compatible with tube steps or rock rails.

You can cut away some plastic on these $50 splash guards to work with the steps/rails, though.

I'm not saying the "big" gatorbacks are worth the price, but they're definitely worth more than the molded plastic ones.

I have these on the front and work as they should. But for some reason the rear pair doesn't fit the contour of the rear bumper. I don't know why.

Agreed, add money because they are better quality but you have to take away money as well because they are ugly.

there’s a few threads out there, they are compatible with the rear PLASTIC bumpers, the Steele ones have a different profile

The photo does have rock rails, which is stupid, because it's not compatible without drilling out the hole for them. (regarding the cheap ones)

I have the $50 version for the front and I have to say I like them. Since I have an OBX, I haven't figured out how I want to install them yet, but as mentioned there are a couple of threads with ideas.
