NovSight 3" HALO lights and connecting to my upfitter switches.
Link to the lights

So I have already wired up some 2 wire lights to the Bronco's Upfitter switches. Not a problem.
Now I am installing the HALO lights and it has a 5 wire hookup plus its own multifunction switch. I figure I will lose most of the whizz bang features like chase halo etc... which is fine.

The question is: How do I connect up the wires to have the main light on AUX 3 and the HALO on AUX 4?

  • Aux 4 goes to Yellow
No idea what the blue wire is for... it's not shown in the wiring diagram you posted. So... 🤷‍♂️

I did try that. It did not work. The only way I can seem to get either of the lights to come on is to use the included switch.

This is an interesting light:

Apparently, yeah, blue wire isn't mentioned anywhere

Yellow would go to "running lights", Green would go to "high beams", but the included switch always overrides.

So... taking the yellow and green to aux switches should have worked. But only if the main switch is off (although if it overrides, wouldn't off turn them back off)? Not exactly sure how that is accomplished, the instructions aren't terribly clear.

So the wider Internet says that I have to cut the controller box off and combine the red power, yellow halo and black ground and just hook it up in a normal fashion.

Didi you figure it out yet?
The blue wire might be a "remote" wire, needs to be hooked up to power supply that goes on when you turn the ignition on.

The Blue wire is for the White HALO. I think I have decided to use the original switch from the light kit and NOT use the upfitter switch.

I did find a YouTube about cutting off the harness and mounting to the AUX switches.
