So I just got back from my Off-Roadeo in Tennessee last week, May 23.
I was alone and they put me in the lead vehicle but the instructor walked the entire time. He walked all the trails. Excellent instructor.
Glad I brought waterproof hiking boots! Lots of mud since it rained several days...
I have a box of some waterproof relays, 12v 30 Amp 5-PIN. I think I will just treat the factory AUX wiring as triggers. And if I ever mount a light bar to the roof I will definitely run new wire for it. Same thing for a Winch. Great info from everyone on this. It was an unexpected surprise...
The Blue wire is for the White HALO. I think I have decided to use the original switch from the light kit and NOT use the upfitter switch.
I did find a YouTube about cutting off the harness and mounting to the AUX switches.
I used to be a suspension reseller and just a hint on the Rough Country suspensions. Stay away from the base N series. Those are what give RC a bad name. Step up to at least the M series or Vertex. I promise you would hate the ride you get from the N series. Just my $.02
So I added some LED lighting to my Bronco and wired up to the factory upfitter switches. No issues. But the factory wiring for the switches seems to be a very small gage wire, like 18ga or less. I always thought when you wired the power to a light you used at least 12ga or better. Is it because...
So the wider Internet says that I have to cut the controller box off and combine the red power, yellow halo and black ground and just hook it up in a normal fashion.
NovSight 3" HALO lights and connecting to my upfitter switches.

So I have already wired up some 2 wire lights to the Bronco's Upfitter switches. Not a problem.
Now I am installing the HALO lights and it has a 5 wire hookup plus its own multifunction switch. I figure I will...
I did a few searches but it did not return exactly what I was looking for. So.....
I am not concerned about connecting to the upfitter switches but was wanting to see how many of you ran the wiring harness from the ditch lights to under the hoot for the final connections. Pictures would be...
I actually bought both kits, the Baja Designs kit and the Diode Dynamics Stage Reverse light kit. I mounted bot up and tested them both, but ended up liking the DD set because of the built in brake lights and th red backlighting. The Diode Dynamics are awesome and very easy to install. Give...
I just finished the TN Rodeo yesterday. You are gonna have a blast. I have been off roading and Overlanding for years and still I learned a lot. Great instruction and actual challenging trails. Enjoy!!
But can you get a comparable aftermarket suspension for $2,400? Most of the suspension systems that compare are $4,500+. Not a rebuttal but a question.
Well that makes me feel better. I did not fail yet another thing.... I just can't follow marketing instructions LOL... Thank to all that replied. Much better day today. Besides I an attending the Bronco Off-Roadeo tomorrow in Tennessee. Good times!
Mike
Let me start off by saying my whole day has been crap. Seems Nothing worked out today. So I decided to do the plug and play easy install from a quality company to lift my spirits. But anyway….
So I probably missed a step but when I finished up and tested the brake lights and back up lights...
