...Now I’ve been bumped to this lovely 5/2 build week. Found out my salesman (who failed to make adjustments to my order before I got my VIN even though he gave me confirmation it would be done)....

What happened then? Obv couldn't make changes. Did you just have to accept what had been ordered without the newer adjustments you wanted?

I asked to have my color and interior changed a month prior to getting my VIN, saw the changes hadn’t been applied when I got it and immediately called him and was basically told I’d be better off just ordering a new bronco bc I’d have to wait another year if they went in and changed it, I called BS after a lot of reading in here about it and went straight to the manager. Manager fixed it within the hour. Populated on the tracker with the right color/interior the next day.

My salesman was just lazy and didn’t care.

Oh good! At first I read this as you submitted for changes but nothing happened and then you got your VIN.

Ordered last July, had to reorder for the MY ‘22 in October. Badgered my dealership and got a build week of 3/7 the next day, then got kicked to 3/21 BW, again to 3/28 BW, bumped to 4/18 BW (build DATE 21st bumped to 22nd) then bumped to 4/25 BW (build date 4/29 and got my build date bumped AGAIN to 4/30).

Now I’ve been bumped to this lovely 5/2 build week. Found out my salesman (who failed to make adjustments to my order before I got my VIN even though he gave me confirmation it would be done) had been fired from the dealership and wasn’t notified in any way shape or form.

This whole ordeal, as I’m sure many of you have also experienced, has been atrocious.

What a nightmare!! I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with that.

Was so stoked last month to get my build date of 4/25/22. Then it got bumped to 5/2/22. Not a big deal, right? Like a fool, I check this morning and it's now 5/9/22. What in the world? Are they trying to see if I'll walk away? LOL.
