I ordered (I Don't have yet) this 4 door rack that looks like the OEM, but connects to both back mount points on Hardtop. I thought this was pretty cool - we shall see...

I haven't tried, just got it on, not a lot of room, I'm thinking the same as OEM
So, how are you liking the rack?
Can the panels be removed with it on?

I only had the rack on for less than a day. I just wanted to get it put together and ready to go. But I knew I'd keep it off for the warm weather. That and I had to take all of the roof off to wind proof it.
Longer story, shorter- I didn't try to take the panels off, but not much room to maneuver , so probably not.
But the rack is cool, sturdy, will get the job done when i need it and I like the way it looks. For me it's a win.
Oh and you can configure it anyway you want. Take the back section off so it looks like OEM, take the front off so it's just on the back, or as you see it. They also make side drop downs like a Defender.

You are a brave man. I don't buy anything from 3P sellers on Amazon that is not prime and can be returned for free no questions asked. Especially a China special with zero feedback

Is there a substantial price difference from the Ford one? Is there one available for the 2 door? Can the 4 door one be modified to fit the 2 door?
I have been looking for an affordable rack of my 2 door and nothing for 2 years now. Only expensive options.

Can it fit - Yes. you don't have to put the back section on and it will look just like the OEM, using only the 'front' back attachments. But I'm certain you can find the 2 door OEM style rack online for less than this one.
