Anyone else in the 4/18 group get the assembly line photo/email yet? Mine just came in this afternoon.

Congratulations, that’s progress!
On a side note, your profile picture looks a whole lot to a similar picture my girlfriend and I just took in Central Coast California this past week. Planning on going back with the Bronco some day!

Thank you!
Good eye on the profile pic.. That was taken in the southern part of the Half Moon Bay area at the Ritz. We stopped during a PCH drive we did.

No way brother, I was there just about one week ago. We also did a PCH trip from San Fransisco down the coast line and back. We rented a Tesla for the trip and had a blast but it would’ve been a whole ‘nother experience in a top-off Bronco!

I got the 5/13 ETA too.

But I was explained that 5/13 is when it will be ready to ship. Meaning ready to leave the facility.

Was that your understanding?
My blend date was 4/21 and my mods populated shortly thereafter. When I spoke to Ford yesterday, they said my vehicle would be built 5/6. After asking them, they explained that it would be finished on 5/6 and then they would arrange shipping.

Back to being in the dark. Ford chat said this morning I have a delivery eta of the 13th. But with it still being in production on the tracker and being shipped by rail to kc I'm gonna doubt that

That is what we call a placeholder date. It’s fictitious and all the orders that are on hold are put on the same date. It is not ‘what good looks like’ in production and I hate it when suppliers do it to me.

We are now all at the whim of Ford’s standard practices to get replacements/repairs completed. Which if we’ve seen anything here, it’s not good.

Order track has the “oldest similar order” as over 30 days on hold. I haven’t heard from people in the January chip shortage group complaining still so I suspect they’ve all cleared up. This makes me suspect their lead time for new chips is 3-4 months and they only repair/replace with new POs. Which means we could be looking at 3-4 months before we get our vehicles.

With any luck, this isn’t a chip issue and if it is, they continue to get chips during the summer shutdown and can use those excess chips to fix our vehicles.

No one wanted to say it but I’m a realist.

Fully agree. 13th is just a date when they'll do another blanket update to those on hold, most likely another date in 3-4 weeks time.

I think "pillow" would be better than "blanket" here. As in, they will take my remaining hopes of having a Bronco and smother them will a pillow in their sleep.

I just spoke to my salesman he said "it shows as being in transist to the dealership and that means it usually shows up in 14 days or less" ...😁
I don’t see you in the Google tracker - did you add your info?

I have the same message and date in regards to a hold and shipping on the 13th. Went and visited the dealer yesterday and he said my hold is not a chip hold. He said it shows chip holds in the system. Mine is still just showing in production. My blend date was the 19th. Not sure what all this means other than I am certain that I will not get mine on the 13th. Who Knows?
