I just added my info to the spreadsheet. My modules popped early Saturday morning. Still "In Production" which I was told to expect for at least a few days (has to complete QA before you get that "Built" email.

My blend date was 4/21 and the rotation number I think is 6644 (big number on top next to the blend date, right?) and my place in line was 91/1077

Questions I have that y'all might be able to answer.

#1 - What is the "tear tag" and where do I see it?

#2 - How do you know if you're on "factory hold"?

Factory Hold does sound like it could be "extended QA" or missing chips.

EDIT: I figured out the tear tag is on the modules search.

I contacted Ford via the Chat on their website. Then you input your VIN and such, and you can ask the agent what's your build status.

Ours also has the tear tag updated and mods popped on 4/21. No built status and we are also in hold but have a delivery eta of 5/7-5/13. Hope thats right! Fingers crossed.
I wouldn't put much stock in the ETA dates. I'm on the west coast and they're giving me the same eta dates but I know that's not accurate. Shipping by rail, then convoy, will take way more time than that.

Thanks! took me a bit to find this because the "Start Chatting" button doesn't seem to show up in Chrome. I'm #44 in line now :)

Dont forget to update us @obx_rick
So they said there is no indication that I'm on any kind of hold. He said it's "in production" and estimated completion 5/4 - 5/18. He did not refer to that as estimated shipment date or delivery date, just "estimated completion" which is strange since it shouldn't take that long to get built.

Perhaps it's just gotten selected for extended QA. The agent had no further details.

Mine was built 4/20, Modules populated 4/21 and then more added 4/22. My Tear Tag is updated to 4 characters... but still says "In Production" as of today 4/26.
ETA: Was told it is on Hold - Plant Delay via chat and to check back at the end of the week (4/29)

I have now completely memorized my vin. I have typed it so many times between the tracker and the chat. What an accomplishment, ugh!!!

I activated mine just after mods popped and while they moved the bronco to a new lot the driver opted in for me. Sitting in Ypsilanti lot.
I've been trying to figure out how to do this. I already have two vehicles active on Ford Pass app and have my ordered Bronco added using my VIN but cannot activate. So: How do you do it.?

Once I loaded the VIN into the FordPass app I selected some link that was obvious as a way to activate the vehicle. I didn’t screenshot it and don’t remember exactly. I did get a message something to the effect that I then needed to activate inside the vehicle. When somebody moved my bronco from MAP to the Ypsilanti plant they activated it and I got this notice.

Just did a chat, my tear tag changed over this morning, Ford tracker and order track app both still say in production and the chat agent said “Thank you for waiting. I have located the order in the In Production status. The vehicle has been produced. With an ETA of May-19-2022 for delivery to your dealer.
I see an ETA of May-13-2022 for start of transit.”

So that’s pretty impossible but take it for what it’s worth

Start of transit might be correct but a week by rail and then convoy to dealer doesn’t (based on what others have experienced).

The order track app states the average time vehicles have been in the “on-hold” status mine shows is 12.5 days. I asked the guy that made the app where the hold status is pulled from and he said it comes from the freight ID/shipping method. So on average it’s taking 2 weeks to get the vehicles onto transport.

Seems like an awful long time to wait for a truck or rail car. I know there’s a shortage but 12 days means about 12K vehicles from MAP (Bronco and Raptor) are waiting parked somewhere for 2 weeks. Just sounds like it would take up a lot of space.
