33’s on Base model

Are 33’s the largest tire you can put on a base model and can you mount them on the stock steelies?

This is a great question. It's been hypothesized many times and there are multiple threads about the wheel sizes available on base Bronco.

I suggest you do some searching on the topic, choose "thread title only" in the search tool to narrow down the hits.

The answer is always yes. Now there may be cost items associated with that yes, but the answer is still, and always will be, yes.

255/85r16s are my flavor of 33(ish)s for the steelies. I would imagine they will fit. Purely speculation though.
If you get an auto trans with the 3.73s, it might not be the best combo with a tire that tall.

Not sure about the auto but it made all the difference with my Base MT
