Southern Illinois. About 6.5 hours from the plant, so I didn't expect a long transit time. Just a big surprise that it just appeared without notice.
Same happened on my first bronco to Stephens. Straight from built to delivered, which came days after it showed up at the dealer. This $60k vehicle delivery tracking is very approximate compared to the "10 stops away" tracking when I order $3 of ink pens from Amazon 😄

Were you on S John Hix Rd? That looks almost like my wifes eruption green 4 door soft top non sas badlands in that one photo. This is where my dealership freight tracker is showing my modem pinging from all week.
My wife would love to get a good photo of her sitting there waiting to go out. She hasn't gotten a production line photo.

Unfortunately that isn't where I took the pictures from. I was on highway 12 on the North side of the plant clear on the very East end by the railway. Sorry I didn't get a clear pic of your ride. That would have been a nice for you to have.

I just got on the Ford chat a few minutes ago and asked for my railcar number, called CSX and found out mine's in Ohio, and in south Indiana by Saturday night
Ford gave you the rail car#?

I managed to place a new order at a dealership down here in central Texas and received my order confirmation email. I regret downgrading everything for the email we received and feel like we got finessed with them opening order banks with no constraints. I really feel like if I didn't follow what the email said I would of still got scheduled for production, oh well shit happens and got scheduled and will still pick it up when it arrives if all goes well. On my new order I went ahead and stuck with badlands, but with the additions of hardtop, SAS, and tow package.

I think you're totally right. I think it was a huge finesse job by Ford. I didn't remove any constraints and I had them all (Wildtrak-so it has SAS included, LUX, MIC, TOW, MOD bumper). I got scheduled within three weeks of receiving the email to remove or else email. I told my wife I'd just let it cancel before I got something I didn't even want just to have a Bronco. A lot of folks did that, especially in 2021 and reentered the order pool a second time.

This really pisses me off. Just got off phone with FMC chat and trying to get any shipping info on my built (3/20/23) Bronco. Asked if she had any news on a railcar number to track once my Bronco is shipped and she said the railroads are a third party company and FMC cannot give out any information on it. I asked , if FMC has seen any in production/built orders arriving at dealerships without the shipping details being sent to the waiting owners . She said she can only give my info out to me. WTF Ford?? I told her I have read about these topics on the Bronco forums and she told me the forums are not part of the FMC. It's bullshit after waiting a year and a half. I have gotten my updated emails from Ford but my dealership has never called me once to keep me updated on my original order. What the hell is Ford chat good for? I have gotten all of my ordered Bronco news on these forums.
Don't get too riled up. I just realized your first rail car number may not be your last. I've been tracking the train, it says delivered in Gibson Indiana (needs to go to Oregon) and appears tracking is done now lol. So is this thing loaded and unloaded a ton of times and given new railcar numbers or something? My dealer won't give me railcar info so I'm having to ask dealers on this forum to spend their valuable time doing it for me.

Too much coffee? Nothing you learn is going to change anything about the delivery of your truck. Just because we can track everything we buy these days doesn't mean FORD is obligated to keep us informed up to the minute. I include myself as "anxiously waiting", sot just do something to take your mind off where your bronco is

I just got on the automated Ford Chat link, and simply asked for my railcar number and it gave it to me in 30 seconds. I called the number, spoke the railcar # it needed, and updated me where it's at (Gibson, IN). Give that a shot.

Can't you continue to track through Union Pacific?

What do you mean? Mine was on CSX. Do the railcars get transferred to different rail companies?

Edit:You learn something new every day. Looks like you have to guess which carrier your railcar is getting on next. Mine is union pacific. Headed to Arlington TX now.

Haha! Glad you can keep following it! I'm pretty sure you're with UP the rest of the way. Cheers!

Got a nice surprise update tonight. My delivery date moved from the end of April to March 31-April 6. Looks like I might be taking ownership of a long awaited Velocity Blue OBX 4dr Bronco after 888 days waiting.
