I was running 315/70 on a stock BB with stock wheels that have +55 offset. The only issue I had was rubbing of the upper control arm when fully turning the wheel. I did some light off roading with no other issues. I did have to remove the rear crash bar though. When I finally upgraded to SAS wheels, the offset of +30 fixed the rubbing issue, but then I had to remove the front crash bar too because that was now rubbing. So yeah, I think you can.
I'm running 285/75R17 on the stock suspension with the +55 offset stock wheels, and they don't rub at all with normal driving. Just looking at the tires when stationary with the wheels fully turned, I can say that they will definitely hit the UCAs if you were to hit a bump and compress the strut at full turn.
I drive a lot of dirt roads with ruts and washouts, but really don't have my wheels fully turned with speed, so it has not been an issue. If you like to rockcrawl, I think there is potential for a rubbing problem, but if you are rockcrawling a BB without lockers, tire rubbing is probably way down on your list of concerns
