'25 Bronco Heritage Factory Winch install

Got a good deal on the Ford factory winch package from CJ Pony parts earlier this year ($1050) and finally got around to doing the install last night. Only needed to make two small adjustments to the stock bumper to get the brackets to fit. Not 100% on the current wiring routing so may see if I can redo that. Also still need to install the Warn relay and wire to the upfitter switches so I don't have the winch powered all the time.

i installed mine and the cable routing was pretty obvious. are you questioning if you did it correctly? excluding your statement about relay via upfitter switch.

Capable bumper does not have the same clearances for routing as the modular does. Did you install on a capable bumper as well ? If so how did you increase clearance on the mount and did you modify the plastic covers ?

installed on an aftermarket bumper, I thought you meant once you get past the bumper. there was a great thread on here for someone mounting the ford winch on a capable.

If it were me I wouldn't hesitate to modify the unseen portions of the capable. it's not there for crash ratings anyways.
