My '25 HE was scheduled last week for 3/17...I placed order 12/10 or so. I've read that the dealer needs an allocation though before an order can be scheduled but that could be inaccurate 🤷‍♂️
Oh wow. Yeah I believe you're accurate about the allocation. I asked my dealer directly about that and that was kinda his response.

I wonder how often a dealer will get allocations?

Generally speaking... once per month. However, some months—like November and December—are combined.

How many allocations your dealer gets is roughly correlated to their past sales performance. Better performing dealers generally get more allocations. Some people hear that and think "oh wow, I should go to a huge dealer that sells a lot of vehicles". BUT... usually a larger dealer will also have more outstanding orders for vehicles, so most of the time it roughly evens out.

Interesting.. Yeah I mean the guy I'm connected with thus far is a 'General Sales Manager' and I feel like he should know all of this and for whatever reason chose to not inform me. It's not a big deal, I'm sure he just doesn't want me to jump ship and go with a different dealer that has available allocations. I'm just patiently waiting like everybody else for that build date email lol
