I recently purchased a Wiltrack and I'm looking for the color of the blue interior accent colors? (Picture of grab handle attached) What I'm reading online isn't lining up with what I'm seeing with my eyes! Please help!

I am wanting to add the TufSkinz "Bronco" dash letters, but I want to have the correct "blue" to match the existing blue accents. Here's my dilemma below (I know, first world problem, right!):

The interweb says the color of the trim in the attached photo is "Area 51" blue from everything I've read. Going off TufSkinz own color chart, it is nowhere near "Area 51" blue and looks closer to "Atlas" blue or "Velocity" blue. I've messaged/emailed TufSkinz, but they haven't responded with an answer yet. I'd really like to know what people think of the color match from people who ACTUALLY have the product, not just an opinion from pictures on the net.

I know I could change this out to another color and just "make it my own;" but since the lighting is blue, the digital gauge cluster has blue accents/highlights and obviously Ford is a blue oval, I'd like to just stay with the blue. BUT! I don't want two different colors of blue visible from the same viewing angle. This may sound picky, but it's just how my f'd up brain works. LOL

Any help with this would be AWESOME! I'd like to order once and not get the wrong color! Thanks in advancce!

@Ducati1098 As mentioned in my OP, I've been down this rabbit hole. I'm looking for people with HANDS ON experience with the color. Not trying to be rude, just honest. Here is the color comparison of what's physically in my vehicle vs. the color samples. The top 4 are TufSkinz "OE Colors" and the bottom is the "Ford Area 52." As you can see, even the Ford OE Area 52 doesn't match what is in my truck...

TufSkinz is an Officially Licensed product and supplier for Ford. So I would assume they have the correct color information from Ford.

Okay, well I'm not sure where you got the Area 52 color sample from in that picture, but it's obviously incorrect if the official Ford name for the actual color in the Wildtrak is Area 52 🤷‍♂️

I literally pulled it from the part in the link you provided.

It's looking like everyone has been chasing the wrong part. I'm going to bet it's actually the "grabber blue" here: https://www.ford.com/product/passenger-assist-handle-grabber-blue-p2800173495

That could be the issue, people have been looking for the "Area 52" blue instead of the "grabber blue." I'm not the only one hunting this answer...

The part pictured in the thread I posted is the EXACT same Wildtrak grab handle you have.
Yet somehow your color sample makes it seem like it's a much different color.

No. It's not the EXACT same part. https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/body/other-trim-parts/interior-grab-bar-handle-(7-mt)-p-m2dz78112c79bc?pdp=y This is the part from the link you posted. It is in fact is "Area 52" blue.

This is the part for the "Grabber Blue." Completely different. https://www.ford.com/product/passenger-assist-handle-grabber-blue-p2800173495

Again, why I'm asking for people with hands on experience with this color and why I think so many people have lead astray with people pointing them to the wrong color. I've spent hours trying to figure this out and I think I'm finally getting somewhere...

Okay I'll try to explain this one last time, then I'm just going to give up lol

The thread I linked, the very first post, OP literally said "Pulling off a grab handle it shows Area 52"
Meaning his FACTORY Wildtrak grab handle says Area 52 on the back of it.
Ford's own parts system which shows the color name of every Wildtrak grab handle ALSO says Area 52.
Your factory Wildtrak grab handle is Area 52.
My factory Wildtrak grab handle is also Area 52.
The blue accent color in every Wildtrak is called Area 52 according to Ford.

So yes, the picture of the grab handle that says Area 52 on the back of it, is the EXACT same color as your factory grab handle.

If you don't believe me, feel free to send me your VIN and I can prove that the color name from Ford is Area 52

When ordering my TuffSkinz for the door sill on my WT, I too couldn't find a match, so I just went with white. Figured it matched the Bronco lettering on the grille. Besides, you really don't see them with the doors closed.

On second thought I suppose it matters when you take your doors off. I won't be doing too much of that.

I'll probably just end up ordering two of the closet options from TufSkinz and see which one is closest. I've called Ford Parts and they can't even tell me. The lady said the part number for the Area 52 handle didn't match my vin but the Grabber Blue did, then people here say they are all Area 52 blue.

I never in my life imagined matching a grab handle accent color would be this difficult.:crackup:

Thanks for everyone's input. I wasn't trying to be difficult @Ducati1098, I've just had a dealership and Ford.com telling me they can't even confirm or guarantee the color. One says the part number for the Area 52 is correct, the other says the Grabber Blue is correct. I'll order it and if it doesn't match, I just won't put it on...

All good. I work for Ford, so I was just trying to give you the most accurate information possible.
Hope you find something that matches well

TufSkinz just got back with me. Apparently even their OE colors don't match the interior trim!:crazy::crackup: Who in the world would have EVER thought matching a color would be this difficult when aftermarket suppliers who provide "Officially Licensed" products can't even tell you the correct color and neither can Ford. LOL
