2022 Ordering (for existing reservation holder)

Hoping someone can help with some of the massive confusion I've encountered with my awful dealership. Like many others, I am an existing reservation/order holder that got pushed to a 2022. I am STILL waiting for my dealership to put my 2022 order in. They are completely clueless any time I contact them. Most recently, saying order banks don't open until 11/13 which I'm fairly certain is not accurate for existing order holders. Questions:

Is anyone else experiencing a similar situation?
Is it possible to switch dealerships at this point in time?
Any advice in general on how to handle this situation? Appreciate the "cancel your order" comments but not there yet.

You can contact Ford and inquire about moving your reservation but no guarantees. Many of us were able to place our orders in 2 weeks ago and have emails from FMC confirming it.

I feel for all the Reservation orders out there. I can not fathom the ongoing, never ending saga that this is. I am a new order person. Ordered 10/13/21. Got my email from Ford. Have looked into it a bit and am seeing that I am a probable MY2023.

So, to answer your question, 10/13/21 orders could be put in. Good luck.

Sucks that you are going through this. You are not alone. I'm a 7/14/20 reservation holder and my dealer has been so unresponsive. I called them, E Mailed them and went there in person. They had 0 answers for my questions and did not get back to me. I was going to just le it go and the order be canceled and I got the same E mail as most others that my order has been re-entered and received for 2022 model year. Who knows at this point- it's like a coin flip. Keep waiting I guess.

I would call other dealers and see if anyone will help you and if you find someone, then contact Ford to change dealers- pretty much as someone else has already stated. Good luck in this venture- I suspect it's going to be a lot of phone time and work.........much harder than it should be.

I'd suggest moving your reservation or at least trying to. The dealers are playing shady games with orders now. Mine changed my order to a 4 door soft top, then back to what i requested, but right when they submitted it, they had entered it as a 4 door instead of 2 door.... I've been dead set on a 2 door since the debut and a day 1 res........ Don't trust any dealership until you get the email from ford showing what they ordered is what you wanted. If they're holding out now, they might turn around and say they "accidentally" sold your bronco but promise to order you a 23..... its all bs man.

I received my order confirmation from Ford Motor Co in less then 24 hours. My question is 1. I want skid plates. Should i change the order or add when received? Inquiring minds want to know.

About 3-4 weeks, Ford sent every reservation holder an email with a link where you can order your Bronco. Doing so requires a $500 deposit. Once you submit your order, Ford will confirm then notify your dealership.

Original '21 order here that got pushed to '22. My dealer sent me the '22 order e-doc to sign on the 3rd week of October. I signed it complete the same day and got the Ford confirmation email yesterday.

Don’t order on line. Go to a dealer. You can switch dealers per Ford. MY 22 orders have been accepted for over two weeks now, and if your dealer is saying otherwise, they are either totally effed, or are up to know good. For some reason, “ MY order holders” epseemed to be having an issue when reordering. Reservation holders who hadn’t converted to order previously, like myself, had no issue. Anyway one slices it, you can order.

when I received the email from Ford to order, I called my dealership and they said let's us try to submit your order as we do not require a $500 deposit. They called me 45 mins later and told me they could not place my order and to go ahead and submit the order online ... and so I did

The next day, my dealership emailed me and they said we see your order via Ford's online process now and it is now submitted.

Don’t order on line. Go to a dealer. You can switch dealers per Ford. You are not alone, I'm in the same situation as are many, my current dealer won't answer questions about information that I know they have on hand, as there are dealers here on 6g that post the info I'm after freely. I'm an early evening 7/13 reservation for a 2D badlands. #4 order and never got a vin, and supposedly none of their orders were filled. I want to move to a larger dealership that actually had orders 21' filled. Price is not an issue, they were selling at MSRP, but they refuse to answer questions about first month allocation, confirm if any orders were filled, etc. I'm not willing to sit through 22' and wonder if my dealer will get any orders filled again.

On 10/19 I called the bronco hotline, was only hold for about 50 min and requested a dealer transfer. The lady kindly took my info, the new dealer info that I requested, gave me a case number and said Ford will contact me. So we're 10 business days in, I'm stuck in limbo waiting on this to happen because I can't order with the new dealer until this is complete. So more or less Ford is dictating which dealer we can use or not use at this point which is complete BS. I know of several others who've been waiting on their existing reservation transfer for twice as long as I have. Who knew it could be so hard to get a business to accept a $55k check...........

I did receive this email and submitted my order online. I have received nothing after that. My understanding is the dealership then officially places the order and you get another email confirming. Nadda for me
