Soft top helps but 99.9% of it is that You won the dealer lottery!! I have a 8/22/20 res soft top order and no vin yet.
All i can say is that if it works out to that date is God is good!

Dealer allocation & buildable units take precedence followed by reservation/order date. Seems to be the going trend. Two identical buildable units at a given dealer, the earlier reservation will get chosen, however they can only build what they can build, and they can only build units at dealers that have available allocations. If you look at it this way, it makes sense so one dealer doesn't get 99% of bronco stock and nowhere else in the country gets any Broncos considering a few high volume dealers, keeps it spread and somewhat even.. With that said, they totally fubared the reservation program because the early res holders deserve their Broncos earlier then people that just walk into the dealer, order one, and get a production date soon after.

I ordered through a small dealer, June 21 reservation (late res in the grand scheme of things)... and had approximately 12 orders ahead of me. I got a production date/vin first round of 2022 scheduling. My dealer had told me this was likely as I had the most buildable unit and was his only soft top order. All others had hard top and many had constraints like Sasquatch, tow, etc... so they picked mine ahead of the rest because they could build it. Now, I don't know how many of those also get scheduled that week, but it's a small dealer so Im guessing they dont get more than 1-3 per month based on 2021 allocations, etc.

I am super grateful I got a production date, but It feels wrong and I still feel like I cut in line, even though I've been waiting almost 6 months already.. lots have been waiting A LOT longer.

So we can just forget about reservation time stamps right? Based on the activity lately it almost seems like that's legitimately the last factor that's going into it. Dealer allocation numbers followed by constraints and then reservation order time. I'm 6'8" and waited to put my order in because I had to test drive it first to make sure I fit, I'm not gonna be upset if I get pulled before 60k other orders but the fact this is the system is insanity.

A friend of mine ordered/reserved a Bronco 8 months after me. I was a day two reservation holder and she was an 8 mouth after me reservation holder. Her Bronco was build 9 days before mine with the same constraints as me except she has an OBX, Rapid Red, Lux and I had a BL, High, Cactus Gray. We both had soft tops. I can only guess she got hers built before me because I had the sway bar and she had Rapid Red. Honestly, who knows the real reason. Oh, we were from the same dealer. 🤷‍♂️

Have to say I'm in this group also!!

Reservation from 7/16/20, converted to order 10/13/21, picked up by Ford 10/28/21, VIN 11/11/21, Build scheduled for 1/3/22.

'22 Wildtrak 4 door with MIC, Lux, tow, leather. Small dealer with 15 total orders and mine is the only one that was priority code 10, all the rest are still 99.

I think the smaller dealers may be getting the love. I too have a week of Jan 3 build date.
11/11/20 res., 1/20/21 original order of 2 dr base, switches, roof rack
10/13/21 reorder, switched to BB, MIC, switches, lights, roof rack-priority 99 until I called dealer and it was switched to 10 and it got picked up with first build releases for 2022

I have not heard of a code 10 only a code 19 and 99. What is a code 10?

the dealer can code 10-19 from what I was told. it just means they can be built. I don’t know if 10 is any better than 19, but I got a build with it.

At the risk of getting lots of hate and death threats;)....let me pose a question.

I made an order at my dealer on 10/13 (tossed 🙈$500.00 into the ford well of forgetfulness to process the order) for 22 OBX / 4dr / 2.7L / SAS / soft top / Lux / Mod Bumper / leather seats / no tow package

I then got the order conformation from ford, then an email Oct 28th giving me a VIN and a build date of 1/3/22 (or 2026 whichever comes first). I find it very hard to believe that ford can push my order ahead of all the 2021 backlogged orders (unless i am missing something), but i wanted to ask you guys for your take on this situation?

Am I crazy or is it possible once i have a VIN and a build date that Ford might actually be doing the build. (straight talk appreciated)
I also ordered Oct. 13, with a Vin and build date on Oct. 28.
However I just got an email that I’m pushed back to Jan. 10
