Looking for some guidance here. Purchased my vehicle in September 2021, at the time I also purchased the Premium Extended warranty. I really have had 0 issues with truck and no warranty claims. I took a weekend trip last week and noticed that my soft top was coming unglued inisde. I did a little research and noticed that there were several TSB's on this and possibly a separate warranty by Ford covering the repair.
I took it to the dealer and showed them the separation. They called back today to tell me the repair was not covered under my extended warranty and they wer enot aware of any separate warranties. I could pay for the repair and they would try to get Ford to cover some of it. I also called Ford and they also denied coverage under the TSB 25-2153 Casual Part Code 7852700. My truck has 26,000 miles on it and is 4 years old.
So I am asking if there anything I can do short of paying for the repair and hoping for the best. The repiar esitmate is about $600.

Thanks

Did you get any resolution? My dealer also says no coverage under ESP on my 21 BadSquatch.

I did actually. I had it out with the service rep at the dealer and escalated to the service manager. He called me back and we discussed things at length. He offered to do the repair if I paid the extended warranty deductible which was $250. The delaer would take the case up with Ford and try to get reimbursed. I of course agreed to this. After the parts came in and the repair was made, I guess the Ford representative was in and confirmed Ford would reimburse the dealer for more than they thought. I ended up paying $125 and it was a two day repair.

Thanks for the update. I'm making the call to Ford tomorrow to escalate.
