The big one is the almost $8000 price increase because Ford won't let you order a Manual on the Base 4-door.

The B pillar is further back on the 2-door, more room for your arm on the window sill.
I've seen the 4dr and have test driven it even, and it doesn't look as long as the pictures but this might sound weird to some but I can't get over the rear door-C pillar triangle. Not only it disrupts the line but also feels like an afterthought

So this past Monday, I substituted the 2.7L auto for 2.3L Manual. Additionally, I replaced the Sasquatch package with the BL optional 33’s in hopes of a MY21 delivery.

My reasoning was I would get this new compromised 2dr Badlands and see how much trouble I could find by driving it where a rabbit wouldn’t go. I would vent my pent up Bronco angst and unleash it on this 4-wheeled reminder of my, previously unbeknownst to me, compromising nature. Then, when things had settled down in a year or two, I would trade what was left of the lesser, Compromised Bronco, for the one of my dreams.

Now, that the manifestation of abuse is not necessary (due to Fords incompetence) I will restore my order to it’s original perfection (2dr, BL, Sas, Lux, MIC top) and give this beauty a new color for 2022 since my preferred blues (AMB, Velocity) are being cast aside like a lot rotted MIC Top on dirt mountain. Perhaps The new lovely Green since all those 4dr’d Mall-Crawling, Fuck-Trophy hauling (kids that is) will be green with envy when they see my bad bitch rolling by as a reminder of what they could be if they had free will.

Surprisingly, like a Phoenix rising from the ashes…… all is right with the world again.

2 Doors Rule!
I swear this guy is my kindred spirit!

"Driving it where a rabbit wouldn't go." has to be one of the most classic wheeler quotes there's ever been!!!

I'm now thinking green over Area 51, but still want my damn white top!

Just paint it white. If I wait on Ford to have a white top I may not be living still. If the green is dark enough, we'll go green instead of iconic silver. This 21' was going to get repainted Mallard Green and the top white like my Mallard Green 71' with white top. So much for that though lol.

Funny you say that, I've been researching how well it could be done on these MIC tops. May actually be ok, so If it's cheaper than buying a new top, I will paint it.

As I said in another thread, just give it to me with no top at a slightly reduced price. I'll go find my own top, and it'll be safe in the garage until I do.

It’s forcing me to switch to a 4 door softie. IMO the 2 door is a much better looking vehicle, and would be a better wheeler, but I can’t keep getting my shit pushed back. This will also be my daily. I have a 7/25 res, BD/2.7/Sq build. I thought before today I might see it next June. Now I’m thinking I don’t get it until next fall. Just can’t wait that long.

Might put in a second res today to order a 2 door zero option badlands to receive in 2024 if I really hate the 4 door.

Umm you paid a refundable $100 to make a reservation that didn’t even go to Ford but your dealer, you placed a deposit, once again not with Ford but your dealer. You haven’t been materially harmed in any way except for letting your dealer pull some non refundable bullshit on you.
Mr. Mamba,
Your response to my post sounds as though it comes straight from the board rooms of Ford itself. Please correct me if I am wrong, but for me to even reserve a Bronco, I had to complete this by going to the "Ford" website which "required" my money. Unless I missed something, I was not able to make my reservation through my local dealer? If you are completely fine with this whole process, good on you! I, like many others, especially 2dr reservation holders are not ok with it. I know in today's day and age everyone is supposed to get a trophy, but in my opinion, Ford does not get one on the production & customer satisfaction portion of the Bronco.

At this rate I'm guessing I'll have my 2 Dr BL with lux and sasq in late spring 22. I'd be ok with that.
At this point I'd rather have a my22 than a late my21.
So would your bank...nothing like experiencing massive depreciation as soon as you finally get your Bronco! lol

And think that some folks had to pay a deposit to place an order at their dealer lol. Feel sorry for the folks that are trapped by that fact.
Yes, I'm trapped waiting for my DREAM RIDE! lol

I haven't posted on here in quite a while. I'm a 7/16 reservation holder, and bought a 2 door wrangler JL sport back in December.

I really feel for you guys, and would have been in the same boat as you, because all I wanted was a 2 door Bronco.
My condolences on your purchase! lol

Who would have thought 13 months ago, that if you wanted a two door bronco, that it would absolutely kill your chances at getting a 21' model.
Yes, very sad that even 2dr reservations made in the first minutes were doomed. Obviously a low priority to Ford.

I hope that Ford's snubbing of MY21 2-dr doesn't kill the aftermarket support. If I was an aftermarket vendor, I probably wouldn't be investing in 2dr accessory development now. But the wider availability of low-grade 4dr models will likely be a boon to aftermarket vendors (lots of squatty 4drs in desperate need of upgrades).
