Sooooo, I was scheduled for production week of 8/23. VIN is assigned, 2dr Sasquatch with 2.3 & the forbidden tow pkg, Yada Yada Yada... Question I have is do you think I should still expect production to occur during that week? I'm even more confused now with that letter that was thankfully posted here, because as a consumer, it was not sent to me. I've posted this before, but how is this not a class action type of scenario? You took a deposit from me to give me the ability to place an order, then you take another (non-refundable) deposit to "produce" this vehicle and over a year later...no vehicle? Always been a Ford household and have never been so disgusted with them on this build. Poor handling from the top down on this and we as the "consumer" just are expected to sit here and take it because they have what we all want! Well done Ford on dangling the carrot in front of these horses.

I swore I'd never buy another Jeep after the POS Cherokee my wife had.

What's the chepest way to get a Stick Shift Wrangler with 4 wheel drive and Air Conditioning?

I’m trying to be positive about being pushed to my22 with the thought of Sasquatch with a manual transmission.

My build has been the same from the start. 2dr, BL, SAS, 2.7, roof rack, tow package. With this build and my late reservation this was always going to be a MY22. This is my retirement vehicle so I am not going to compromise. What Ford needs to understand is my frustration with the lack of communication. With everything going on I don't expect an exact build date but I would like a projection on what quarter of 22 they expect to build my vehicle. I am not in a bind for this vehicle. I have a F250 for towing my trailer and a F150 company truck, my wife has a Telluride. I am keeping my F250 so I don't have to worry about juggling a trade in, I don't have a leased vehicle to worry about the timing on., I never expected a MY21. If I am frustrated how bad is the frustration for early reservation holders who should have received a MY21 or are sitting on a vehicle to trade or trying to juggle the timing on a lease. Are you listening Ford??? You need to let us know at least what year and quarter to expect the build.

Umm you paid a refundable $100 to make a reservation that didn’t even go to Ford but your dealer, you placed a deposit, once again not with Ford but your dealer. You haven’t been materially harmed in any way except for letting your dealer pull some non refundable bullshit on you.

So hey 2door friends,
What's keeping you from changing to more doors?
More color options? ManSquatch? Maybe fix the damn carpet off the rear seats?
Having a vin since April, lol.
I think they are ugly and the rear soft top wrinkled windows are embarrassing......
4 door actually very nice in person. Nice lines. Very well proportioned. Not talking about the soft top windows though.

my dealer spoke to his Ford rep and confirmed my 2 door BL that I have a VIN for WILL be built and will be a 2021. My latest push has taken me to the week of October 4th. I'm not sure they can get a new hard top designed, built, tested and on the line by then. I hope they prove me wrong. I also have the 2 door soft top on order. I am wondering which will show up first.
Anybody care to address the elephant in the room?? I will…WTH?!? I hope I’m just reading that wrong. Do you mean 2dr soft top as an accessory? Please mean an accessory. šŸ˜‚

If you have a VIN, what is your complaint? You're still gonna get the new MIC top and you're probably gonna get it before anyone who hasn't received a VIN.

The 4 door looks nice, like the other 15 or so 4 door suv's around now, it looks a bit stretched out though.
The 2 door looks absolutely made for off road driving, and it has similar lines as the original super cool bronco.
Ford should have just called the 4 door the sport and never built the actual sport.

The big one is the almost $8000 price increase because Ford won't let you order a Manual on the Base 4-door.

The B pillar is further back on the 2-door, more room for your arm on the window sill.

The Moar-Door is Fugly! Don't need an Off-Road Limo. And most importantly, Real Broncos are 2 Doors!

It's a shame. Does anyone know the reason Ford did not offer a soft top on the 2-door Bronco? I read speculation, but it seems a missed opportunity, to have a convertible vehicle without a factory soft top. I can't imaging Jeep not offering a soft top on the 2-door Wrangler.
My speculation is they would have to design a 2 door specific mechanism for it at additional cost. Would it fold back properly being shorter?

We’re just gonna extend our lease on our Ford Edge that was supposed to be up in February 22’ and just keep on keeping on til our 2 door Wildtrak gets a build date. It doesn’t have many constraints with it only having a Mid Package and tube steps…no Lux, tow or roof racks…just simple so hopefully that works in our favor and it’ll be here next year around this time šŸ™ƒšŸ¤žšŸ»

Anybody know how many two door people have VIN’s compared to how many are still waiting for one?
