I noticed first thing when I picked up my Bronco, that the damper door sounded oddly loud. I have driven a week and was not sure the motor is working properly. There seemed to be some warmer air on and off in the passenger footwell. I hooked up Forscan and sure enough I have a HVAC DTC B1038 Recirc Damper motor. Also reads additional fault symptom: Mechanical failure. Anyone else had this issue? Set up an appointment to take it back in on Wed to get checked out.
