HVAC Vent Whistle

Has there been an update with this issue? I have it as well. I have taken it to the dealer twice and they can’t replicate the issue. But my passengers notice it when we drive at highway speeds too.

Same issue w/ my ‘21 FE. When the heat is on and the floor vents are routing the air, you hear a whistling /him that sounds like its coming from the rear.

If it is only happening when it is cold and when the HVAC is running, then it is likely a whistle coming from the weather stripping gap between the frame and the mid panel of the hardtop.
I had a similar issue happening last winter and the fix was some pipe insulation in the channel of of the frame (after taking the front three panels off).

That sounds like exactly my problem. We've been running a soft top for a bit but put the Hard Top on for the winter. The windows down makes the sound go away but it's any window. Primarily though the sound seems to be coming from the back passenger side. I'll look into this. Thank you!!

Cracking a window neutralizes the cabin pressure so the air is no longer going between the hardtop seal and the frame to make the whistle noise.

So I'm just going to add this for fun but....
I had a whistling noise seemingly coming from somewhere in the HVAC system.
I can't remember anymore if it came and went with speed (I don't think it did) or if it came and went with fan speed (I think it was this)
Anyway, turns out my wife used the dial at the bottom of the far most right vent to shut it.
Once I opened it back up, the whistling went away...
