Figured this was an interesting way to clean valves. I'm guessing a good catch can would definitely help with this. Walnut Blasting

Yep, that's what we do at my shop. We'll discuss using the BG product if it's not too bad, but walnut blasting is what will get the job done. Most direct injection motors will need this eventually. Mileage is all over the board. Might not need it for a very long time.

Would you recommend Seafoam intake kit? I was thinking of doing that every other oil change. Thoughts?

Bear with me here. ;)

Seafoam is amazing, it will do anything that is needed to keep your engine running perfectly. It will make the oil last longer, it will give you better gas mileage, more power, it will clean the intake, clean the valves, make the fuel pump last longer, remove deposits from the throttle body, clean the MAF sensor, up the compression ratio, and so much more!

Yeah, go for it, it can't hurt. Seafoam is pretty ancient technology, been around for longer than most of us have been alive, and I've been on Medicare for quite a few years. It's a solvent, nothing miraculous about it. Some people swear by Chevy, some Ford, some Seafoam.

Seriously, it can't hurt. No idea what benefit it might be. Nothing wrong with spraying any cleaning chemical into the intake now and then. Forgive me for being a wise ass. I own an auto repair shop, we don't use Seafoam. :)

I don't even know why you wasted your time typing that out.

Thank you for sharing this ! Nice video, really would like to see a comparison of one with and one without a catch-can to see how much difference those make.
