But they all start out on CSX so once they have it in their system they will follow it all the way.

So, how do you track your truck on a railcar?

First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

According to Ford, my Bronco is getting railed via Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway (BNSF). But they can't give me a rail car #...

I guess I'll just try to be patient and wait for the dealership (Manteca Ford in California) to call me once it's been delivered.

Mine says Build Complete on 2/26 and shipped. I'm in Charleston, SC. I talked to my dealer. He was clueless on how to get a railcar number. I also used Ford Cust Serv chat and they said they didn't have a way to get a rail car number. Zero emails from Ford. I'm a day 1 order and the lack of communication has been astounding.

Tracker switched to 'Built 3/6' today.
Talked to dealer and got railcar info: Wayne, MI...no ETA yet.

my ETA was “unavailable” on the rail phone system, even after it reached its final rail destination

Hmm, hard to say. Something like that might mean it hasn’t left the initial yard yet, but that’s hard to believe 9 days later. You might double check there wasn’t a typo in the rail car number.

It told me that when it was in between stops. Try again in the morning and it should be at its next stop

Ford needs to give Canadian's more information for tracking My dealer couldn't get much more information than it was being built and should arrive sometime this month. It's been a couple of weeks since the modules popped.

Today a new button appeared in FordPass for Activate Vehicle. Should be a good sign I hope.

Today a new button appeared in FordPass for Activate Vehicle. Should be a good sign I hope.

The Activate Vehicle button popped up in my FordPass app around the same time the tracker moved to Shipped for both my Broncos. Hopefully that's some consultation for you.

Mine was built on 2/23, and it’s still sitting at MAP. I’m hoping you have better results than I do!

My tracker didn’t update until Saturday night and was delivered yesterday. Maybe they are waiting for other builds before your truck can leave? What was your EDD before they took it away?

On the main tracker it was 3/3; if you went through the back door, it was 2/25-3/1; dealership said 3/6, so I'm hoping for this week at some point. Realistically, I had told myself before I was sent to production that I'd be happy if it came in the late summer/early fall, so having it built is just so exciting, and I can't stand it!
