1st world problems - fun distraction poll

Happy start to the weekend. I am an early res, 4dr OBX Sas 2.7 AMB, that had a 9/20 build date that moved to 11/1. So glad to see people getting their Broncos and I am relatively early on in "the wait" but the Production date email (8/26 email received for 9/20 build that was bumped 6 weeks) until now has been KILLING ME and I am curious of the people that now have their Broncos what they feel is the worst part of the wait process. Anyone can feel free to answer of what they think it would be. I imagine each stage gets more and more painful. Apologies to the people that have had really long waits with DM issues and other delays but I just put in general stages to keep in simple.

Shipping to Delivery is by far the most grueling step in the process. You’re so close but still weeks or months away.

All the people who selected reservation/ordering just don’t know it yet.

My Bronco shipped on the 4th, and life has been excruciatingly slow since. Easily the worst part of the wait for me. It's more the stress of suddenly needing to get the financial side and trade in handled immediately after sitting around waiting since July 13, 2020.

The good news is I have a Ranger to prep for trade in, so that's taking some of the time up.

I like this poll. Just out of curiosity, is your build a hard top or soft top?

Need to add a category. "Tracking blackout from rail terminal to dealer."

Knowing the rail car arrived 3 hours away and then having no idea where the Bronco is until the dealer says "it's here!" Has been the worst so far.

Your dealer should be able to tell you the trucking company that will pick up your Bronco from the rail terminal. Or the Ford marketing phone line can also; that’s actually where I got the info. Then you call dispatch at the trucking company and they will tell you whether a driver has been assigned and when he’s scheduled to pick up and deliver your Bronco to the dealership.

I think the moral of the story is we are all hurting in our own ways.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm going to photo bomb the shit out of this place when I get my Bronco in a few weeks. You guys are gonna hate seeing photos of me climbing every boulder in my state by the time this is over.
