[F150Bronco]

Quick question:
I’m going to pickup my Bronco at the dealership in a couple of hours and was wanting to know if there was any point in getting an extended warranty for National Auto Care for Windshield repairs?
Does any one have any experience with this company? What’s the consensus?

I don’t know from personal experience, but in another thread I’ve seen other members comment on how Ford is (allegedly) notorious for trying to weasel out of extended warranty work…especially on an “off-road” vehicle.
There may be a dedicated thread somewhere?

So I've got a good one for y'all... SMH

Built 12/3 received original shipped email on 12/10 with expected delivery 12/21 - 12/27, then bumped to 12/30 - 1/6 via the back door link with no email. This afternoon I get a shipping bump email saying it moved to 12/30 - 1/6. So I checked the back door link, and it says 1/3 - 1/9...

OOf course no railcar info so it hasn't moved anywhere.

Aaaand already bumped to 1/9 - 1/15 without an email....

On the bright side my AR Magnum steps showed up today.
Gonna see if I can fit them to my RS. Lol

Same built date and also got bumped to that same window lol. No email as well. Still never even received a pic after it was built!

Haha absolutely! But hey at least you know it exists. I never even received my built picture, so as far as I know the reality has not even set in yet and it’s just a bunch of random numbers on a screen that pop up as I keep refreshing my shipped status hopefully waiting for a delivery someday.

Been out camping the last few days and took a break from work/emails etc.

Packing up this morning and just got an email yesterday that it finally shipped. Eta week of 1/8!

Picked it up. Got the windshield warranty.

Drives better than a Jeep. There is wind noise above 60 mph. Sound system is the same as my F150. The screen is crazy huge, clear and bright.

Velocity Blue color looks awesome.

CSX just moved my estimated arrival to the rail yard back a day during its time traveling from Ohio to Kentucky. Every step in this process seems like an insanely slow process. I’m honestly shocked it takes trains that long to make the 12 hour (by car) journey from the plant to the area the rail yard is in. God I hope it gets a vehicle hauler quickly when it arrives, this has been the biggest test of patience.

Mine finally landed at the dealership yesterday (1/4) after sitting at the railyard since 12/9. Picking up tomorrow. Hang in there, everyone!

At least you have SOME progress. Mine is still waiting to be loaded onto a rail car in Michigan, for over a month now at this point

The dealership offered an “extended” warranty on windshields thru National Auto Care. 5 years, unlimited, including replacements for $800. I still have to call and figure out the logistics of the warranty process.

That's at least a step in the right direction. I just checked with Ford Chat. Still no rail car information which means the god damn thing is still in Michigan 32 days after being built.
