I have moved from Chicago to Gibson IN. Maybe you guys are on the same train. @Wazznme is likely headed a different direction by now, hopefully north.

Gibson isn't exactly as southernly a route as I was hoping, but still progress! This is from the CSX automated line, not Union Pacific. I can't figure out how to input the rail car for the UP interface. It asks for equipment number, and when I input the rail car number it says 'that equipment has been delivered' or something similar.

The info I got from UP was a November status in Arlington TX, so too old to be my Bronco and is not relevant.

The current info on the rail car from CSX is that it was carried by Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad (IHB) to Gibson, IN yesterday. No further info and no ETA available.

Update: Got on Ford Chat just now and they show it in Clearing, IL

Update #2: My dealer said… “It’s currently sitting in the giant rail mix-master up in Blue Island, IL. We see them sit here several days before they get moving again as it’s a major switching station where they are moving cars from rail to rail to be bound for different regions of the county. ETA showing on or around the 21st…and I do stress ‘E’ for ESTIMATED as we have seen them take longer on many occasions.”

Update #3: CSX shows it at Mendon, MO. on BNSF. Ford tracker shows it as an invalid VIN so they must be doing service on the tracker. That, or it fell off the train.

Update #4: Kansas City.

Update #5: OKC, where the wind goes sweeping ‘cross the plain.

Update #6: Arrived in Texas at what I believe to be the final rail stop. Up to the transport company and dealership now.

Mine made it to Willard Ohio and Says will arive in Chicago Dec 10th. I am guessing it will be past off to UP? Headed to Texas

I know mine is off the rail car... Now I just hope a truck picked it up and I get a call today or tomorrow from my dealer!

Me too! Fingers crossed they can get it on a truck to the dealership soon. I wish I could pick it up at the rail yard myself as that's about an hour closer and faster. We're getting close!

Got to love the railroads, got my shipped email Monday as well but my delivery window is 12/31 to 1/6 and mine is only going to Iowa

Ha! I had meant to reply to your post this morning, but apparently I didn't and just did a random non-sequitur.
As soon as I have rail car information, I will obsessively check for updates and will let you know if I find out anything.

Got my rail car info from my dealer. Still the same delivery window. I called (Norfolk Southern Corp) and it said it's in Oakwood Michigan as of 1:55 PM Dec 9th. I used the following thread to get rail contact info

I'm glad it has an assigned rail car and isn't at the plant waiting for a chip or something.

Been corresponding with the owner of the dealership (who happens to be a friend) and he sent me a photo of his internal tracking system (Freight Verify). He said he checks this daily when he's in the office and will let me know if/when there is any movement.
He just got in his loaded Outer Banks (high, lux, ht) and it took five weeks for him to get it once it was finished being built.
So, I'm thinking it'll be early next year for me.

11/28 blend, built on 11/29 no status updates since. awaiting shipping per tracker, 12/17-12/24 delivery. Chat said the same thing.

that is what tracking told me. I’m on rail car 952261. What is odd to me is, isn’t that north of the assembly plant? My Bronco is coming to Florida.

Dude so sorry to hear that. Look at pages 47-49 @BearM seems to be in the same situation. Hopefully the hold doesn't last too long

Thank you hopefully, i'm so tired of waiting, no sleeps, just getting crazy i guess, hopefully this chip thing won't last long and this is gonna be the last issue to get my bronco after all this wait time... any update on your order? When are you getting your beast?

I hear you. The waiting game of anything is the worst part. Send all the good thoughts and positivity to you and others in the same status. I'd be pulling my hair even more. Especially with the pizza tracker kind of out of commission. *knock on wood* at least it seems that ford is making an effort to close out these reservations. Took 2-3 years but finally we're getting movement so hang in there. I hear it'll be worth it

I got my official built email this morning and delivery estimate is still 12/25 -12/31 even though it's not shipped yet. I'm holding my excitement and predicting mid January. Cushion my heart a bit just in case but hopefully the good surprises keep coming.
