I don't get how you got a built status, and have been waiting to ship while I've been on chip hold and mine somehow shipped before yours. I stand by Ford doesn't know how to do things in order.
Agreed - after some sleuthing on Google Maps it seems Bronco storage for convoy shipping has a designated lot with numbered parking spots. My assumption is it was parked in a late numbered spot and newly finished Broncos are getting parked in spots before mine and consequently shipped out first. Who knows what the right answer is but I'm harassing my case worker and the exec assistant at Ford as much as possible to get it resolved.

After talking to the woman at Ford corporate, I finally received a 'your Bronco has been built' email with a delivery date of January 7-13th. So I am 100% getting a 2022 in 2023. Never received a call back from the supervisor (as promised), never received a call on my case from Ford (as promised), and I just got an offer $14k below what I had 4 months ago for my '22 Telluride.

I am 100% with you all, if I didn't want a 7MT and the style of the Bronco, I would have been out years ago. 2.5 years of waiting and I cannot even get a call back from @Ford Motor Company ? No apology, no explanation, no incentive....That Ford badge will be taken off before I even get in the car. Absolutely insane.

With that said, I cannot wait for us all to have pictures of all the fun stuff we are going to do in our trucks! Looking forward for good news for everyone!

I picked mine up Monday at Granger and road tripped back to Colorado on Tuesday. 4 door MT badlands.

First impressions: I used to have a wrangler and this thing is vastly better on the highway. It’s far more comfortable in terms of both the drive and the seats. Gas mileage was horrible, but I expected that. 16.5 mpg highway going up to elevation. The 2.3 is enough to get around but it’s not anything remotely fast. I’ll probably do the Ford performance chip upgrade at some point. I went on a test ride at the Chicago auto show about a year and a half ago and it feels like they’ve improved on a lot of the early quality issues. The hard top was quiet and the grab handles seem a lot more stable.

I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface for what this thing can do. It’s far too cold to remove the doors or roof and I haven’t had it on a dirt road or trail yet, but I have full confidence that it’s going to be a blast. I can’t wait for camping trips in the mountains next summer.

Someone just declined my Ford Pass activation request in the Bronco... Idk why this made me so happy but I'm hopeful that means it's being loaded on a convoy right now... We will see.

Congrats! I should be headed to Granger in a few weeks for pickup. Question... if yours traveled by rail, would you happen to know if the Chicago clearing yard is the last rail stop before being put on a convoy to Granger? A few of us have been sitting at the clearing yard for a couple of days now and wondering what the next steps might be after the storms pass. And would love to see pics and hear more about your Granger experience if you get a chance. Again... congrats!

I hope so, seems like you've been through it. I was in this week and had a minor delay but when you get it, it's awesome!

Granger was great. I did the paperwork mostly online and with a short test drive and trade in and I was in and out in about 40 minutes. As for your question in the rail, I messaged Ford chat after it was delayed and they told me it was somewhere in Indiana, I forget the last stop. Then they told me another 10 days or so for delivery. It arrived at Granger the next day….

Unless they have changed, Illinois isn’t the last rail yard, Omaha is. After Chicago mine went back to Indiana, then on to Missouri, Kansas, then to the final rail rail yard in Omaha, Nebraska. That is where convoy picked up. Mine took about 10 days from Chicago to Omaha. And then a few days for convoy.

But who knows, there may be a different route in play. Hopefully they take a Christmas short cut!

Here is my Granger Rail journey:
Walbridge Ohio, Nov 3
Willard Ohio Nov 4
Blue island /Chicago, Ill Nov 5
Gibson, Indiana Nov 6
Williamsfield, Illinois Nov 7
Tina, Missouri (BNSF) arrive Nov 8
Tina, Missouri (BNSF)depart Nov 11
Kansas City KS, Nov 11
Omaha, NE, Nov 13 6:16 am
“Customer location” (unloaded) Omaha, NE, Nov 14
Delivered via convoy at Granger Nov 17

Thanks SO much for this info! @scottfwalter, myself and others have been at "clearing" Chicago for several days. The message I get from CSX (rail car UP 801057) is that the "load has been delivered in Chicago Clearing on Dec 18 and there's no ETA available." Not sure how to see the other steps you listed, but it looks like we've got several stops over the next two weeks before reaching Granger. Thanks again... maybe now I can scale back my calls to the automated line to just five per day. :)

UPDATE: rail car is actually in Gibson, Indiana (not Dixon as I previously thought the recording said.) Actually glad she's in a rail car making her way to Granger and not out in the elements during this weather! EDD updated to Dec 30 - Jan 5 so may be getting her a week earlier than previously quoted.

Been there, so many calls! I was able to get the BNSF info from the CSX rail info line, but it was spottier. So either they are still waiting for a load in Chicago, or the car is on another route already. Hopefully the latter and you get a delivery email from Samantha soon. BTW, my Great Dane takes her first trip today. Had to get the seats covered before her white hairy self messed up the ride. Had it been summer we would’ve been top-off dogs-in on day one.

OMG! Pics of your Dane in the Bronco, please! Feel free to post here or DM me! I'm hoping Chaos and Havoc fit comfortably in my two-door. Heard from a guy who has two Mastiffs and he said they have more than enough room... so there's hope!
