03/13/2023 Build Week

Well, I'm in the club. Ordered 1/15/22, OBX, 4 Dr, High, Non-Sas, Soft Top, 2.7. Build week 3/13/23. Totally anticipating a slip, but excited to finally have a VIN.

My 2 dr BaseSquatch just got bumped to the week of 3/20..... I figured in would happen but a little bummed since the original 3/13 week was almost 1 month away.

Interesting. Hadn't checked in for a bit but after having received the original notice on 1/19 for a 3/13 build week it's now showing as a 3/20 build week. Didn't receive any email updates but it's no biggie, it's just so much better to be focused around the "when" than the "if" they'll build it. So far still on track for a Bronco summer which is really Job #1 (right, Ford?).

Just checked and I was just bumped from 3/13 to 3/20 as well. I'm a 2 door Basesquatch, so maybe they're making room for some of these new build assignments (or maybe moving 2 doors to 3/20)? No eMail on the switch, just checked when I saw this posting.

Got bumped to 3/20 as well. 2 door badlands high package, mod bumper....

For clarity - mine is 2 DR BL stick non-SQ High. I'm going to go for the glass half-full here and note that by being pushed back one week the build would be after the vernal equinox - so a Spring build, with Spring representing all things new and renewed.

I'm supposed to be in the March 13 group with my Outer Banks. I waited a year only to be told I had to give up the Lux package and hardtop. Giving up the Lux package was no big deal but I have been pretty steamed over the hardtop issue. Ford will take our money and they won't give a ____ about those of us who really wanted the hardtop. Kind of wish I had kept my 1975 from years ago but even restored.......it drove like a 1975.
