Best example I can give is I ordered a 392 Rubicon in December and it was built and delivered within 5.5 weeks. After showing built it was on a truck and at the dealer 2 days later
Frittsbronco,

That's exactly how it should always work.

thats the odd thing.. with all the Ford vehicles we have ordered its never been like this... my dad special ordered an 18 GT PP1 Mustang with a 1 year only color and dealer had no clue if we could get it as the color was being phased out... 5 weeks later he got a notification it was on the truck and arriving within the next 5 days... he got the vehicle and had ownership within 5 weeks of it being ordered... I understand time/commodity constraints, but dont overpromise and under deliver. I would much rather have Ford say "hey we have issues right now with delays, it could take 4-6 weeks to take delivery once produced" and i wouldve been upset but like hey this is our world right now.. i just wish more clarity was provided so we all arent left with bad tastes.... All we own are Ford vehicles and its really disheartening because they are the only vehicles I want to own.

Exactly the way I fell if they told me to expect delivery delays I would have been ok instead of giving me false ETAs that they knew for a fact they couldn’t deliver on

I knew the process would be a long one, but this is absurd.

I have seen some others get their orders converted to shipped… is there still anyone like myself that had blend of 3/1, in production 3/2, built 3/15, and is still sitting as built(hasn’t shipped)?

last I chatted with ford they said I had a plant hold but couldn’t tell me why. My dealer has been unresponsive the last two weeks so I’m really unsure what’s going on.

I’m also in AZ but seems like some of the other AZ order are on their way or some of you have taken delivery (I’m jealous).

mine has shown as built since 3-7 and still hasn’t shipped. Shipping company said they see a hold on my Bronco but Ford doesn’t show the same and nobody can tell me what is going on.

Also in AZ and literally exactly same timeline of built and on hold. Seems like it takes 2-3 weeks for each update. Dealer says as of today still showing a plant hold but ETA of delivery 4/8-4/14. Ford chat says 4/3 ETA for the next status update. So still sitting in built awaiting shipment until 4/3 when they'll update the tracker. Not sure what they'll update it to though.

Interesting but also good to know. My ETA on the back door tracker says 3/29-4/4. I highly doubt that is even possible if the thing hasn’t shipped yet. But maybe your timeline is more accurate for me.

Glad (in a way) that I am not alone.

Yeah I think all of us in this hold group will see some sort of tracker update this weekend. It is good to know you're not alone. But quite frustrating to not get a straight answer. We all just keep pooling all the different answers given to try deduct some sort of sane truth.

Agreed. I know its been said a million times throughout this forum but this process has been the worst customers service/purchase process Ive ever been through. The worst part is it seems like Ford doesn’t care. They know they hype is real and they know if one of us back out they have thousands of other people who would purchase it above MSRP.

I just don't believe Ford is this out of control with it's operations, there is something their obviously not telling us. The best way I can suck it to them is to wait the 2-3 more weeks to get it and pay the guaranteed price from January of 2021. If I backed out they would all high five each other as they would easily sell for $20-$25K more. So my patience is costing them. But my goodness is it enraging.
