Finally was able to track my Bronco and it’s at the railyard (Richmond) near my dealer (Serramonte). Now I am beyond excited— somehow on a level even more than before— and am trying to predict which day I need to take off work. Because as soon as I get the green light to come on down that’s gonna happen. It also sounds like it could take a few days to get it to the dealer too though… I would have thought I would have learned patience over the last 597 days or so but that clearly hasn’t happened.

Mine has been sitting at the railyard by my dealer since 3/1. He is fluffing dates I think, as he said he has seen cars sit there for almost a month before they get them to the dealership.
I hope he is full of it. Not sure how much more I can take!

My dealer says minimum 2-3 days from arrival at railyard to dealers lot. Sometimes longer, never earlier. I believe my bronco arrived by rail Saturday morning, so here’s hoping for a Wednesday delivery

Like many of you my Bronco made it to the rail yard. After speaking with some customers of the same dealership that I am getting mine through the average time it takes to get the Bronco from the rail yard to the dealership is around 16 days!!! With the longest wait being 28 days and the shortest being 2 days. The story seems to be that the trucking companies wait until they have a full load to haul and because of the supply constraints for all the auto manufacturers there is not a steady supply of cars coming in by rail - thus the long waits.

My OBX was dropped in the Memphis rail yard last Thursday. Checked Palsapp this morn and still showing "pending" and the tracker still shows shipped. I am financing through a bank and trading in a 4runner so I am wondering when the best time is to finish the deal with the bank and get a check cut since I don't know the delivery? I don't want to hold off and get the call only to find out that the bank needs a 48-72 hour turn around. I am also hearing it is best to have the check cut to myself and Ford so that one cannot cash without the other. Anyone else dealing with this?

When I did, it just spun and did nothing.

It gave me my load number, I think thats progress since it was on a train. Hopefully I get it this week.

Look at post #1291 on page 87. It will give you a good idea of the timeline of the rail car getting from Chicago to Texas.

Dealer says bronco will arrive at their place Wednesday or Thursday, then one day in their shop to get it ready. So initial EDD by ford of the 11th was pretty impressive! Getting pumped

Congrats! Mine is literally 50 miles from my house and less from the dealer just sitting at a railyard! Its been sitting there since last week I just found out.
